Carolyn's K9 Retreat We provide dog boarding and daycare 365 days a year. Cared for just as they would be at home! We have 3 acres with 5 different fenced in play areas.

We also have a 2 car garage we have turned into a doggy playpen and we welcome the dogs into our home freely. We provide care for all size and age of dogs. We meet with all new dogs before their stays to ensure the safety and comfort of all of our pups. Our home and our lives have become dedicated to making sure your dog is comfortable, happy, and healthy while you are apart.

Reminder to protect your pup during wildfire smoke season 🐢❀️ Keep walks short, stay indoors when air quality is very poor (we have indoor areas for our guests!), and make sure fresh water is always available. Our furry friends are getting lots of extra attention (and water!) at the Retreat this week! A little extra care goes a long way

With temperatures expected to top 100Β° today, it's important to keep both you and your dog cool.

If you need to get out of the heat, Thurston County has activated cooling resources for residents during today's heat advisory.

🐾 Dog-friendly places to cool off:

β€’ Pet supply stores like Petco, PetSmart, Cabela's (dogs welcome inside)
β€’ Dog-friendly businesses with indoor seating (Capitol Mall)
β€’ Your veterinarian's lobby (if you think your dog may be overheating)

❀️ If your dog is spending the day with us, they're enjoying air-conditioned indoors, fresh water, and plenty of cooling breaks.
