Eden Farm LLC Megan Galloway USHJA Certified Trainer. HUNTERS/JUMPERS/EQUITATION, all ages and levels welcome.

Eden Farm is located in Ocala, Florida on 30 acres down the road from Glen Hill Farm and Paddock Mall. Established in 1972, it is one of the oldest hunter/jumper barns in Ocala/Marion County, Florida. Just minutes from many of the local schools and walking distance to Trinity High School, Eden Farm is often referred to as the “in town” hunter/jumper farm. The farm’s environment is family oriented

and a team spirit is encouraged throughout the students and parents. For over 45 years, it has been the start and foundation of many young and successful riders in the Central Florida Zone 4 region.

✨Trainer POV✨

What I'm looking for:

🏇 Rider:
• Proper Position: seat, leg, and hands
• Correct pressure and release
• Eyes up and looking ahead

🐴 Horse:
• Impulsion and proper pace
• Not on the forehand
• Not strung out or hollow
• Balanced gaits
• Balanced jump

The goal isn't just getting over the fence—it's developing a horse and rider partnership that is balanced, effective, and confident.

✨ Great rounds are built from strong fundamentals.

What is your trainer always reminding you to work on? 👇

Every good ride ends with proper care. 💙

Cooling down, rinsing off, and taking care of our horses after work is part of good horsemanship — and something our riders learn from day one at Eden Farm.

It’s not just about riding. It’s about caring for the horse, too. 🐎

🐴✨Horse Spotlight: Meet Bennie!✨

Age: 9
Breed: 1/2 Arabian, 1/2 Dutch Warmblood
Height: 17 hands
Cute habit: Loves to gallop around the field whenever he gets the chance 🐎

What makes Bennie especially exciting is that he only started jumping about 60 days ago — and he absolutely loves it!

Owned by Jessica Williams, who recently made the switch from Arabian breed shows to hunter/jumper riding, this pair has been embracing the journey and loving every minute of it.

We’re excited to watch Bennie continue growing in the jumper ring here at Eden Farm! 🐎✨

Refusals aren’t your horse being “bad.”

They’re usually telling you something:
• Lack of impulsion
• Poor distance
• Loss of confidence
• Mixed signals from the rider

Your horse is reacting to the ride they’re given. Fix the communication, and you’ll fix the problem.

This is your reminder to be patient with yourself. 😊

Some days it seems like nothing is going right. Some days, you question your progress. But growth doesn’t always look like quick success in the moment.

Trust the process.
Stay consistent.
Keep showing up.
Don't quit.

God is working in the unseen just as much as the seen. Both in and out of the saddle. 🐎✨

✨ What makes a “good” round vs a “winning” round? ✨

A good hunter round hits all the right marks — the proper number of strides in the lines, every flying lead change, and accurate distances to the jumps. It’s correct, consistent, and well-ridden.

A winning hunter round takes it a step further. It has everything a good round has — but with brilliance. No mistakes. Every distance is perfect. Every line flows beautifully with an even, consistent rhythm. Horse and rider move together seamlessly, making it look effortless.

That’s the difference between riding well… and standing out in the ring. 🏆

At Eden Farm, we train riders not only to be correct, but also competitive.
