Fun to see this filly we sold out doing her job. By Scooter Kat out of a Rockin W mare, Cody trained her from the start to the roping arena, and she’s doing a good job proving herself. Always rewarding to watch them move on and be successful.

These two photos mean a lot to us.
The first is SJR Sparkin Metal, making a run at the Bridgeport Ranch Rodeo. The second is his son, stepping into that exact same spot just a few years later.

We’ve hoped to build a program around horses that don’t just look the part, but show up and go to work with grit, cow, and a solid mind under pressure.

To watch this c**t follow in his sire’s tracks, and to see the proof in motion, means everything to us. This is only the beginning of what we hope will be generations of good horses made to last.

This is the very first horse we have raised, and he does not disappoint!

We have always felt that this horse has had a natural ability to pick up maneuvers correctly, paired with a great mind that makes everything about riding him so much fun.

This was his first week in a bridle, first time down the fence, and first time showing. In true fashion, he made it look easy.

We can’t wait to share our up and coming two year olds by SJR Sparkin Metal. Our stallion’s progenies are turning out to be exactly what we hoped for!
