✨ #5 | Brandie Inman ✨
📍 Nowata, OK

Brandie Inman heads into IFR 56 sitting fifth in the standings, continuing to build on a season defined by growth, consistency, and hard work.

She will compete aboard Rodeo Short Go, a talented 10 yr old APHA horse. Together, they’ve proven themselves as a formidable team throughout the year.

One standout stop of the season came at Miami, OK, a rodeo known for its great atmosphere and strong payouts. Brandie placed third that night, her biggest payday of the season, making it a defining moment along the road to IFR 56.

After a successful rookie year that ended with a Rookie of the Year title, this qualification represents another opportunity for Brandie and her horse to showcase just how hard they’ve worked. Heading into the finals, they’re confident, prepared, and ready to build on the momentum of an already impressive journey.

✨ #6 | Josie Thompson ✨
📍 Decatur, TN

Josie Thompson is headed to IFR 56 for the fifth consecutive year, continuing a run of consistency built on dedication, family, and exceptional horsepower.

This season, Josie will be backed by a deep and talented horse string, including Its Eazy Bein Famous (“Lambo”), a 6-year-old by Eddie Stinson out of a Frenchmans Guy mare; TF Fabsrockytopdiva (“Ladybug”), a 10-year-old by Frenchmans Fabulous out of a Three O Jones mare; TF Famous Sparky (“Sparky”), an 11-year-old by Famous Bugs out of a Three O Jones mare; and Famousjeff (“Jeffrey”), a 16-year-old by Famous Bugs out of a Zan Par Bar mare.

Her favorite rodeo of the season came at Decatur, TN, a hometown stop where her family produces the event. The moment was made even more special when Lambo made his first rodeo performance and came away with the win.

While qualifying for the IFR is never taken for granted, this year carries added meaning for Josie. As she prepares for her fifth trip to the IFR, she does so alongside her mom, making IFR 56 a family milestone she’ll never forget.

✨ #7 | Holli Tays ✨
📍 Graysville, TN

Holli Tays is headed to IFR 56 for the first time, making this qualification one filled with gratitude, consistency, and shared milestones.

She will compete aboard Holy Sun (“George”), a 15-year-old by Holy Bart out of a Sun Frost mare, along with Famous Illusion (“Louie”), a 13-year-old by Dash Ta Fame out of a TR Dashing Badger mare. Together, this team carried Holli through a season of steady progress and belief.

One of her favorite stops along the road was Hopkinsville, KY, a rodeo that stood out as a highlight of her year.

Qualifying for IFR 56 holds special meaning for Holli, as this is the first season she’s been able to consistently rodeo all year long. Getting to travel alongside her husband and qualify together makes the accomplishment even more rewarding. ✨ #8 | Tania Corbeil ✨
📍 Ste-Sophie, Québec, Canada

Tania Corbeil is headed to IFR 56 for the first time, and her qualification is one defined by resilience, faith, and a season unlike any other.

She will compete aboard Aim My Choice (“Henry”), an 11-year-old whose heart and determination carried them through an unforgettable year. Henry is sired by A Regal Choice (First Down Dash × Harems Choice) and out of Aim For Home (Down Home Dash × Americanero Dash), a pedigree matched only by his will to win.

Two rodeos stand above the rest. At the IPRA Canada Finals in St-Tite in May, Tania captured the Finals win just two weeks after giving birth, a moment that defined the strength behind this qualification. The Charlevoix Rodeos were equally memorable, where she won the rodeo, the Charlevoix Challenge, and the Finals. Additional highlights included victories at St-Anne-de-Beaupré and Saint-Hyacinthe, both runs that showcased precision, confidence, and partnership on challenging ground.

Qualifying for IFR 56 carries deep meaning for Tania. After a strong start last season was halted by physical setbacks for both her and Henry, this year began with entirely different priorities, welcoming a new baby. IFR qualification was never the goal, but Henry had other plans. Through determination and trust, he gave Tania the chance to achieve a dream she’s carried for years, making this qualification one of the most meaningful of her career.

✨ #9 | Taylor Steinhoff ✨
📍 Vinita, OK

In her first year going for it, Taylor Steinhoff has earned her first qualification to IFR 56, turning belief and determination into a season worth remembering.

Taylor will compete aboard Another Shot of Licorice (“Coup”) by AnotherShot clone of Nate Shilabar aka “HotShot”, a horse who spent this season proving just how capable he is in every setting. One standout memory came in West Chicago, where Taylor hit a barrel on her backup horse, Money, yet still ran fast enough to pull a check, a moment that perfectly summed up the grit and heart behind her year.

Qualifying for IFR 56 carries deep meaning for Taylor. After being overlooked and hearing that her horse only excelled in small pens, this season became about proving otherwise. Coup answered every doubt, running strong in all types of arenas and showing everyone what Taylor always knew, he had what it takes.

Now, Taylor heads into IFR 56 proud of the journey, confident in her horse, and ready to let him continue doing the talking in the arena.

✨ #10 | Julie Thomas ✨
📍 Ranger, GA (currently in the process of moving to San Angelo, TX)

Julie Thomas returns to the International Finals Rodeo with the kind of consistency and partnership that defines a true veteran of the sport. Heading into IFR 56, Julie marks her seventh qualification, all alongside the same trusted partner.

Her horse, The Cool Zippy Zevi (“Amos”), is a 19-year-old standout whose longevity and heart have carried them season after season. This year was no different, as Amos once again guided Julie to another IFR, making this their seventh consecutive qualification together.

One of the season’s most memorable stops came in Athens, AL, a rodeo that stood out as a defining moment along the road to IFR 56.

With gratitude for the journey and appreciation for a horse that has given her everything, Julie heads into IFR 56 excited, confident, and proud of the partnership that continues to stand the test of time.

✨ #11 | Payton Askins ✨
📍 Paden, OK
Payton Askins is headed to IFR 56 for the first time, a milestone built on perseverance, belief, and an unbreakable bond with her horse.

Payton will be competing alongside ReysLittleLight (“Harlow”), a 13-year-old partner who defines heart and grit. One of the most meaningful moments of the season came when Harlow returned from an injury mid-season. After taking the time she needed to rest and recover, their first weekend back included Grove, OK, along with two additional rodeos, a weekend where Harlow felt stronger than ever and placed at all three rodeos.

A favorite stop along the road was Pawnee, OK, where the atmosphere made competitors feel like stars, complete with special events and a big Jumbotron that brought the entire crowd into the action.

Qualifying for IFR 56 represents more than just results for Payton. It reflects the hard work, faith, and dedication of her support system and most importantly, a reminder to never doubt the heart and ability of the horse underneath her. Grateful beyond words, Payton heads into IFR 56 proud of the journey and the partnership that carried her there.

✨ #12 | Cheyanna Closser ✨
📍 Markleville, IN

Cheyanna Closser is headed to IFR 56 for the first time, making this qualification especially meaningful. While she last held a card in 2010 and only made it to one rodeo back then, this season truly felt like a rookie year, and one she’ll never forget.

She will compete aboard Eye Chasin Victory (“Porkchop”), a 10-year-old mare out of Hays Victory Eye by Chasin Firewater, alongside Hays Special Gift (“Sally”), a 7-year-old mare out of Hays Victory Eye by The Red Dasher. Both horses are home-grown projects that Cheyanna and her mom raised and trained together, making this journey even more special.

One of the biggest highlights of the season came with a win at her favorite rodeo in Danville, IN, a moment that truly lit a fire and pushed her to get on the road and chase the season harder.

Qualifying for her first IFR is a powerful reminder that God’s plans are bigger than her own, made possible through faith, family, friends, and the horses that have been part of her journey from the very beginning.
