Do you have IBS? Do you love cats?
Meet Howie Mandell, an energetic and loving tuxedo kitten who happens to be a megacolon survivor. Howie had a tough start to life with chronic constipation that put a damper on being a kitten. Luckily, through some hard work, medicine, and Howie’s fierce willpower he has found a treatment plan that works for him. Howie has been a little fighter since the day he was born and we couldn’t be happier that his day has come to join the adoptable cats and kittens here at Clover’s.
Howie was raised from day one as a bottle baby so he is extra sweet. He’s always had a positive attitude, giving purrs even after receiving his medicine or having a hard day. Currently, Howie is on a wet food only diet to keep his bowels moving. He is also on a medication in the morning before food and the evening before food. At this time it’s unsure how long he will need to be on the medication— we are hoping not forever but it is a possibility and something his adopter needs to be prepared for.

Peekaboo! GIRL! sees you 👀

It’s ok to just admit that you’re obsessed with her. She’s the IT girl and she knows it. GIRL! brings the NYC party life to central Illinois. Her pastimes include working on her DJ set up, listening to BRAT on repeat and, taking flash photos.
GIRL! Is silly and spunky but that doesn’t stop her from giving ALL the purrs. GIRL! Literally lights up when she see’s her friends, she loves to rub on her cat foster siblings and sit on her human fosters shoulders.
GIRL! would be happy in a home with a kitty friend and of course, TONS of attention.
