Now that I have seen bits and pieces of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE and A CHRISTMAS STORY with a little Die Hard thrown in, I need to reflect on Christmas at the office. I want to thank all of you for the cookies, flowers, fruit baskets, snacks, cards and gift cards as well as good wishes. It has been quite overwhelming. Sadly, I have to also recognize those of you who have lost pets during the holiday season especially one young lady that had her house burn 2 nights ago and lost several pets. Our thoughts go out to all of you!

Thank you again and may all of you and your pets have a Merry Christmas and Healthy New Year!!!

Sorry, I'm a little late on this one, but we won't be open Saturday November 16. Also, as has been traditional over the past few years, we will not be open Thanksgiving weekend. We will close Wednesday and reopen Monday the 2nd of December. Some people shop, I vaccinate and worm my cattle. I only see them in the dark this time of year so the extra time off lets me get them ready for winter. Happy Thanksgiving !!!

Attention: The office is going to be closed this Saturday Nov 2nd. Its that time of year to get our sheep sheared so they are cleaned up and ready to have lambs. The shearer is coming Saturday morning. See you Monday!

ATTENTION, the office will be closed Friday October 18th thru Sunday October 20th. Susan and I will be celebrating our 40th so we are going out of town for a few days, Sorry, its the 40th and there wont be another. Bear with us. See you Monday.

ATTENTION: The office will be closed starting Wednesday August 28 thru Monday September 2nd. We will reopen Tuesday September 3rd. Susan and I will be out of town but a staff member will monitor the voicemails to the office. if medication refills are needed or advice given by me, she can handle both. Well last night I was scrolling thru the Best Of categories from the 2024 Readers Choice from The Pantagraph. I went to Best Veterinarian and I did a double take. There was my name as one of the top 5 Veterinarians. I want to thank all of you who voted me into this category. It certainly was unexpected. I never have solicited my clients or my staff to vote for me so that makes it all the more special. You did it all on your own. After several decades of working long hours and dedicating myself to this profession, this gives me a feeling of accomplishment. I'm sure my colleagues that were also voted in feel the same.
