I have been practicing veterinary medicine for over 40 years, and during that entire time, I have had the privilege of working alongside Ginnie. For more than 60 years, she has dedicated her life to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing injured and orphaned wildlife. Her commitment to animals is truly extraordinary.
What many people don't see is the enormous cost involved in caring for hundreds of wild animals each year. Food, formula, electricity for incubators, cleaning supplies, and countless other expenses add up quickly. Yet Ginnie has continued this work year after year because of her unwavering dedication to wildlife.
She has never been someone who likes to ask for help, but the reality is that wildlife rehabilitation depends on community support. The animals she saves have no voice of their own, and every donation helps provide the care they need to survive and return to the wild.
If you have ever admired the work of wildlife rehabilitators or care about protecting wildlife, I encourage you to consider donating to Ginnie's GoFundMe. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference.
Thank you for helping support a woman who has dedicated a lifetime helping animals.
