I have been practicing veterinary medicine for over 40 years, and during that entire time, I have had the privilege of working alongside Ginnie. For more than 60 years, she has dedicated her life to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing injured and orphaned wildlife. Her commitment to animals is truly extraordinary.
What many people don't see is the enormous cost involved in caring for hundreds of wild animals each year. Food, formula, electricity for incubators, cleaning supplies, and countless other expenses add up quickly. Yet Ginnie has continued this work year after year because of her unwavering dedication to wildlife.
She has never been someone who likes to ask for help, but the reality is that wildlife rehabilitation depends on community support. The animals she saves have no voice of their own, and every donation helps provide the care they need to survive and return to the wild.

Due to my pending surgery, I have decided to not be open on Saturdays till further notice. Susan will have enough on her plate-me, the livestock, etc. I will not be able to got the barn for weeks to help her and she needs catch up time. I would think 1 maybe 2 months without Saturdays. As always, if you have no questions leave a message and someone will get them to me. I can't drive for at least a month so a staff member will monitor calls. Thank you for your patience and loyalty.

ATTENTION: BRUNSWICK ANIMAL HOSPITAL WILL BE CLOSED THIS SATURDAY APRIL 18th. We will reopen Monday April 20th. ALSO, IN THE HEAD"S UP DEPT, I AM HAVING SHOULDER REPLACEMENT SURGERY APRIL 29th. THAT WILL IMPACT SEVERAL THINGS IN THE OFFICE. SURGERY WILL BE DELAYED 4-6 WEEKS, I THINK. I DON'T KNOW TIME FRAME WHEN I WILL BE BACK IN THE OFFICE. WE WILL TRY TO ACCCOMADATE ROUTINE APPTS LIKE VACCINES, SICK PETS WILL HOPEFULLY GET THE PROPER LABS DONE BY MY STAFF OF SUSAN AND ASSORTED PRE-VET STUDENTS. ANYTHING WE CANNOT HANDLE WILL BE ASSESSED AND GIVEN PROPER REFERRAL TO ANOTHER ANIMAL HOSPITAL IN TOWN. SORRY GOTTA DO THIS> CHRONIC PAIN IS A CHRONIC PAIN.

ATTENTION: ONCE AGAIN IT IS EVERY OTHER SATURDAY OFF. We will be off Saturday April 4th. See you back in the office on Monday April 6th. Happy Easter, going to brunch at Baxters and on Saturday GO ILLINI!!!!!
