🐾❤️ Happy National Animal Shelter Week from SmartVet! ❤️🐾

Today, we celebrate the incredible local rescue groups and animal shelters that make a difference in the lives of so many animals in our community. 🐶🐱

To the rescues we’ve worked with in the past, those we work alongside today, and those we look forward to partnering with in the future — THANK YOU! ❤️

Your compassion, dedication, countless hours, and unwavering commitment to giving animals a second chance do not go unnoticed. From providing medical care and comfort to helping animals find their forever homes, the work you do changes lives every single day.

At SmartVet, we are proud to support the people who work tirelessly to give these deserving pets the healthy, happy futures they deserve. We know rescue work isn't always easy, but the love and determination you show make an incredible impact.

This week, and every week, we celebrate YOU — the rescuers, fosters, volunteers, advocates, and supporters who are the heart of animal rescue. 💕 Together, we can continue to save lives, heal hearts, and create brighter futures for animals in need.

From all of us at SmartVet, THANK YOU for being their voice, their hope, and their second chance! 🐾❤️

🎃👻 Happy Howl-O-Ween from all of us at SmartVet! 🐾

Halloween can be spooky fun for us, but some of our furry friends may find it a little frightening! 🐶🐱

🕷️ Keep candy and chocolate safely out of reach
🎃 Keep pets away from candles and decorations they could chew or knock over
👻 Give nervous pets a quiet, cozy place to relax
🧡 Make sure your pet’s ID tags and microchip information are up to date
🍬 Remember: treats are for humans—give your pets pet-safe goodies instead!

Wishing all our patients and their families a safe, happy, and tail-wagging Halloween! 🎃🐾

We’re excited to introduce you to one of the amazing members of our veterinary team! ❤️

When Anna isn’t caring for our furry patients, you’ll most likely find her spending time with friends and family. And here’s a fun fact you may not know… Anna can play the flute!

Her favorite part of being a CVT is nursing sick patients back to health and helping them feel better, while also educating pet parents about animal health and wellness. We’re so grateful for the compassion and dedication she brings to every patient and family she cares for!

If Anna weren’t working in veterinary medicine, she thinks she’d enjoy working in a bakery decorating cakes—because it sounds relaxing! 🎂😊

And her dream pet? A Sphynx cat! 🐱💕

We’re so lucky to have Anna on our team! Be sure to say hello the next time you see her! 🐾❤️

🐾💙 National Certified Veterinary Technician Week Spotlight: Bianca! 💙🐾

This week, we’re celebrating our amazing CVTs—and today, we’re shining the spotlight on Bianca! 🩺🐾

Bianca recently stepped into the role of Practice Manager, but that hasn’t stopped her from putting her CVT skills to work around the clinic! She brings her veterinary knowledge, experience, and passion for helping others to everything she does.

Her favorite part of being both a CVT and Practice Manager is watching our team learn, grow, and develop their skills. She loves seeing staff gain confidence and become the best veterinary professionals they can be. 💙

When she’s not at the clinic, Bianca enjoys going to concerts, attending Bloomington Bison games, and getting lost in a good book. 📚🎶 And speaking of books… here’s a fun fact: she has already read/listened to 45 books this year! 🤯📖

Please join us in celebrating Bianca for National Certified Veterinary Technician Week! We’re so lucky to have her dedication, knowledge, leadership, and love for veterinary medicine on our team. 💙🐾
