We are beyond grateful & honored🎉

On Thursday evening, Assistant Director Jodie and New Shelter Committee Co-Chairs and Board members Dana, Misty, and Amanda attended Heritage Federal Credit Union’s Outlaws and Legends Night, where HFCU celebrates its nonprofit partners♥️

To our surprise and delight, Warrick Humane Society was named Nonprofit of the Year!

This incredible award is determined by community voting throughout the year, and Heritage Federal Credit Union generously celebrates the winning nonprofit with a $10,000 gift.

We are so thankful to our friends at Heritage Federal Credit Union(special shout outs to Jared, Taylor, Madi, Larry, and Sami), our fellow nonprofits, and our amazing local community for this generous recognition and support. Your kindness makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the animals we serve and helps us continue building a brighter future for them.

Thank you for believing in our mission and being part of our journey! 🐾🏡🩵

Our Building Hope was about more than a new shelter…..it’s about the people, memories, and generosity that made it possible. ☺️🐾

Throughout our new shelter, you’ll find special ways our donors and supporters have chosen to honor loved ones, celebrate meaningful connections, and recognize those who helped make this dream a reality. Each dedication tells a story, and together, they remind us that this shelter was truly built with love ♥️

To everyone who gave, encouraged, volunteered, and believed in Building Hope, thank you for leaving your mark on a place that will change so many lives, both two-legged and four-legged, for years to come🐶🐱🏡

Take a look at some of the beautiful ways our community has made this shelter their own. If you are interested in learning more about our available naming rights opportunities, including honoring a person or pet who has passed away in our memorial hallway, please reach out to our Executive Director Lindsey or Board President Amanda🐾🏡🩵
