‼️ Update on boarding this week‼️

After speaking with officials this morning, we do not feel it is safe for animals, or people, to enter our facility until it has been thoroughly checked and cleaned by professionals. According to said officials, we are looking at days, hopefully not weeks, until we are able to go back into the building.

If you have an upcoming boarding scheduled this week, they will not be staying at our facility. I, Amanda, am taking care of the animals at the temporary facility, but until further notice, no new bookings are being taken. If you wish to cancel your reservation, please message me here on Facebook. I do not have access to the phone at the spa. You may also message me with any questions or concerns, and I am happy to speak with you.

Thank you all for your continued support and trust. Your babies are my babies when they stay with me, and their well-being will always be my top priority. 🐾

🐾❤️ Important Update from Home Away Pet Spa ❤️🐾

As many of you know, there was a chemical fire near our building today that caused us to evacuate quickly. We want to reassure everyone that all boarded pets were safely evacuated and are temporarily staying at Pups N Paws Playcare.

We apologize for the lack of communication throughout the day—our focus was on the safety of the animals, and it was truly a chaotic situation. Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and trust. We will continue to update you as the situation develops.

📚✏️ Fall Critter Camp Sessions 🐾🐶

Looking for the perfect after-school activity for your animal-loving kiddo? Warrick Humane Society’s Kids Program is excited to announce TWO 8-week sessions of Fall Critter Camp!

Your child will enjoy hands-on time with animals, fun crafts, and learning how to be a voice for shelter pets. Each camper receives a WHS t-shirt, their own adoptable stuffed animal, and more!

🗓️ Camp Details by Age Group:

🔹 Session One: Ages 8–9
📅 August 21 – October 9, 2025

🔹 Session Two: Ages 10–12
📅 October 23 – December 18, 2025
(No class November 27 – Thanksgiving)

⏰ Every Thursday evening from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM

🎟️ $120 registration fee – includes all materials, snacks, and camp swag!

Get ready for a summer full of creativity, color, and fun! Join us for our first-ever Myriad Kids Summer Craft Series, a special crafting event designed for kids ages 6–12 (older kids are welcome, too!). Our next session is TODAY, so don't miss out!

Each session includes 3 hands-on craft projects, and a chance to make new friends while exploring their artistic side in a relaxed, welcoming space.

🗓 Upcoming Event Dates:
• TODAY, July 13th: Summer Vibes ☀️
• Sunday, August 3rd: Monster Mash 👻

🕛 Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
📍 Location: Myriad Brewing Company
💵 Cost: $35 per session (includes all materials and 3 craft projects)
Ages: 6-12
(We will have coloring page kits for kids under 6 for a donation to the shelter to work on)

✨ Event Details:
No reservations required – the first 30 kids to arrive will be accepted.
*Some projects involve paint, so please have kids dress in clothes that it’s okay if paint accidentally gets on them.

✨Parents must remain on site during the event. You're welcome to relax inside the Myriad Brewing Company building while the kids craft outdoors.
The event is all-inclusive and wheelchair accessible.

We'll provide drinks and snacks for all the kiddos!

The Warrick Humane Society has partnered with HundredX again this year for Opinions For Pups - HundredX Causes, an incredible opportunity where Your Opinions Earn a Donation up to $15,000 for Puppy Kennels at the New Shelter! Last year we raised money for kennels in one of our puppy rooms, now we are raising money for our second room of puppy kennels!

This is an easy-to-use program where you can earn up to $120 for WHS & it just takes a little bit of your time. This fundraiser ends on July 1st - please help us reach our goal before then!

Here’s How It Works:
