Meet Nelly!!

She is a 3 year old female chihuahua (terrier?) who weighs about 9 lbs! $100 has been sponsored towards her adoption fee by the amazing !!

After being transferred from California while pregnant, Nelly has been through some stuff and is ready to enjoy her youth at her new forever home!

She did a great job nurturing and protecting her pups at a foster home where she showed her playful and loyal side. She gets along very well with other dogs. It can take a little bit to get into her circle of trust but once you do she’ll reward you with lots of love. She’s quite a fetcher and very observant of the world around her.

She always has one ear up and one ear down and you can see her desire to please and protect in her gorgeous face and eyes.

She’s definitely ready for some “me” time to enjoy her youth and will make a great companion for many years to come!

All her puppies have been adopted and she’s wondering why nobody wants her!! She is still in foster, so is used to being in a home and has a great foundation to start her off!

Meet the 3 remaining national parks litter pups!

Born May 23, 2025, Bryce, Yellowstone (“Hamster”), and Glacier are three of nine siblings who came into rescue when their mom was found pregnant in Napa.

DNA says they’re a delightful blend of shepherd, chihuahua, and “super mutt,” with mom weighing 26 lbs and the pups expected to be about the same—perfect portable companions!

In foster care, they’ve grown up surrounded by love: raised by their gentle mama Shakira, a doting 65lb “auntie” dog, a cat, and a steady stream of friendly humans (including a child). They’ve been to bars, food trucks, and plenty of outings, charming everyone they meet.

Healthy, affectionate, playful, and eager to please, these pups have the ideal size and personality to fit into almost any home. Now, they’re ready to meet their forever families!

This handsome little dude is Newton!

Newton is a 4 1/2 month old male pit bull terrier mix! He weighs about 16 lbs!

This sweet, wiggly boy loves treats and playing with toys! He enjoys playing with other dogs and crawling into your lap for some attention! He does good on leash and is so ready to be your adventure buddy! We love his green eyes and peaches and cream ears!

This handsome little goofball is Casper!

He is a 4 1/2 month old male chihuahua mix! He weighs about 19 lbs!

He’s the sweetest and goofiest little pup with the cutest little ears that fold over!

He does good on leash, likes to play with other dogs, loves toys & treats!

He is up for an adventure but also likes to snuggle up with you! Best of both worlds!

We need your help!!

This sweet mama is Mona. Mona came to us and was unknowingly pregnant!

She gave birth to 5 beautiful babies, but it wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies… Mona couldn’t birth the babies and had to be rushed to the emergency vet for an emergency c-section. They were also hospitalized as she didn’t seem to be able to nurse her babies…

Well that was true. Mona only was producing enough milk to be able to feed 1 baby, and with having 5 we had to act fast on our course of action. The puppies and Mona remained at the emergency vet and they were bottle feeding round the clock every 2 hours.

Luckily one of the staff members at the emergency vet stepped up and is fostering these babies and giving them the intensive care needed.

This whirlwind of events has accrued more vet bills on top of our $9,000 outstanding invoice with our primary vet. Anything helps, truly.
