Catching up on a busy and fun-filled summer!

Some highlights include...

☀️ Taking advantage of the warm weather with trail rides around the state and even a beach trip or two! 🌊

☀️ Super rides at new levels for Halli and Winton (Fourth), Lisette and RP (Third), Megan and Lux (First), and Nya and Lyndy (Third) 💪

☀️ Building partnerships and confidence with our young horses and their riders 🤝

☀️ Top finishes for Teresa and Zena and Bernadine and Monty in their first Western Dressage competition 🏆

Looking forward to some cooler weather, a few more competitions, and goal-setting for the next season!

🎈🍾Another one for the books! Such a great venue and crew running the show at Silver Tail Farm last week for the Twin Rivers Classic. It was so wonderful to see old friends we don't get to see as often! We had a terrific group for this show and truly enjoyed the weekend. 🍾🎈

Jennifer and Trinity earned their first score at First level for a Bronze medal and improved throughout the weekend. She handled Trinity's exuberance with style, especially when he decided airs above the ground were more appropriate down centerline than a halt and salute. 💥🧨

Lisa and Tad went to their first recognized show of the season at Training level! It was a great confidence-building experience for both of them and we look forward to more shows with them next year! 🙌⭐

Megan and Lux won at Intro and Training level with scores in the high 60s and 70s - Megan has done such an excellent job getting this young man out and about for his first show season and her hard work is paying off in spades. 🔥💪

Bernadine and Monty had the opportunity to debut their Grand Prix freestyle! They pulled off a great ride, even when Monty's cavesson broke part-way through the ride - apparently, there is a first time for everything! 🤯🙈

There is so much to be grateful for! Thank you to the incredible team at Silver Tail Farm and the Twin Rivers Chapter of Oregon Dressage Society! We love coming to this show and will be back next year! 🥳 Thank you Mary Cornelius Photography and Equine Video Productions for the fantastic photos and video. 🎉🎉🎉 Three cheers for a wonderful River Dance show! 🎉🎉🎉

We had a great turnout last weekend and we were so glad to see everyone there! It is so much fun to have this show and we are so lucky it's in our backyard! 😍

Big congratulations to Cathrin Bruederle and Megan Callahan Grant for winning High Point of the weekend! Cathrin and Lorettina won a beautiful saddle pad with a high score of 67.6% for the First level and above classes. Megan and Lux won a Gallops gift card with a score of 72% for the Intro/Training level classes. Thank you to Gallops Saddlery for sponsoring these High Point awards and bringing your trailer over for us to shop!

A massive thank you to all our volunteers and our volunteer coordinator extraordinaire, Paula Brown. Thanks to you the show went off without a hitch!

And of course, we can't forget all our amazing clients who participated in the show! Amanda and Reva, Brigitte and Chula,, Deb and Athena, Elissa and Coco, Jennifer and Trin AND Roger, Lisa and Tad, Megan and Lux, Nya and Lyndy, Sarah and Pols, and Torry and Desi. You all had such great attitudes and came ready to ride - we couldn't ask for more! Looking forward to next time 🤩🐎

A little late to update on our weekend at Lake Oswego Hunt -- it was a HOT weekend but our team persisted with some super rides. This show was a great opportunity for some of our young ones and new horse/rider pairs to get more mileage! We're very proud of everyone's progress this season as we head into August shows.

Shoshana and Lyndy debuted at Fourth level - Lyndy's first show in four years after a significant period of time rehabbing. We are excited for these two as they continue to get to know each other in the competition ring!

Megan and Lux took on their second show (ever!) together and Lux showed off what a responsible young man he is growing up to be. Super proud of this partnership as they continue to grow.

Bernadine brought Dylan out at both Training and First level and ended up with some great scores in all classes, a high point being a 69% on Saturday. Dylan has been slowly getting more confident away from home and it is showing!

Halli and Winton showed at Third level and it was another confidence-building experience for the sensitive gelding! It has been really rewarding to work with these two and they improve with each and every outing.

Thanks to all the friends who came out to support and cheer on our riders! Always a big thank you to LOH and show management - we were so glad to see this show back on the schedule this year!
