Noah's Ark Pot Belly Pig Sanctuary Inc

Noah's Ark Pot Belly Pig Sanctuary Inc Here you can find updates, what pigs and cats are up for adoption, and what you can do to stay involv Thanks.

We are no longer a rescue, we are simply a sanctuary for pigs that we already have here & cannot take in any new pigs. If you are needing to give up your pig, please refer to Pig Advocate League (PAL) website at www.pigadvocates.com and locate pig rescues in your area who might have space available or know of families looking to adopt a pig. Thank you

Our mission is to provide an open herd sanctu

ary in a natural environment. Although our hope was to save as many abused and abandoned pigs as possible our reality is we are only a few and can no longer take in any additional pigs. We are here to provide protection and care to the remaining herd that is with us now. With the growing epidemic of abandoned pigs brought on by breeders and the myth of micro and mini tea cup pigs the need is beyond our abilities. We do welcome visitors and encourage you to come and visit our sanctuary. Please contact us to set up a time to meet our wonderful residents @ [email protected]

Please be sure to not confuse us with Noah's Ark On Wheels & Noahs Ark Farm, they are wonderful as well, but we are soley a pig sanctuary. It was brought to our attention some people were mixing our websites up.

Anton is turning out to be such a sweet boy along with his daughter Annika! He is starting to love his belly rubs :-) he and Annika both sit for their treats and Anton has started waving his hoof for a tree also! They are both up for adoption and would thrive in a one-on-one home with lots of attention :-) Anton is a 4 year old nuetered male, & Anika is a3 year old spayed female. Please let us know if you would be interested in coming and meeting them

We are saddened by the loss of one of our sweet piggies here at the sanctuary, Anna Karenina, who was only 10.
Anna was just a young pig approx. 3 months old when I came home from the grocery store one Monday and there was a large Tupperware container in my driveway with this beautiful little pig in it!
It was an extremely hot day and so glad she was alright.
So, next she got a name. Anna (ah nah ). Then we got her spayed.
She grew up with Caleb who was about the same age as her.
They were spoiled indoor/ outdoor pigs.
Anna developed painful arthritis and no matter what I gave her, it never really helped enough.
Then she developed a troubling breathing problem. Not much was helping, so I took her to the vet and she had an exam and they started x-rays.
The results were not good. She had a very enlarged heart and the heart and all the fluid were pressing on everthing else including her trachea.
It was decided that there was no quaulity of life remaining.
We let her go peacefully.
She is missed so much and Caleb really misses her too.

And just a couple days prior, we had the sudden unexpected loss of one of our cats, Gloria....she was only 11 years old, but when she and her sister, Willow, were born here to a stray cat, she always was the unhealthy one of the two.
She liked to sit by the big water bowl and drape her tail down in the water. Not sure why she did this, but then she would want to jump in your lap with a dripping wet tail, lol. She was such a loving cat & we miss her also ❤️

Meet Anton and Anika 🐷 These 2 sweeties are looking for their forever home, if you think they might be a good match for you, please contact us and come out for a visit! They are father and daughter, pretty smal, and Anton is about 3 1/2 years old, neutered and Anika is about 2 1/2 years old and spayed.

Well let me start out with I am glad 2025 is gone. The end of the year, December was a really hard one in particular... we've had a hard time writing this, so that's why we are just posting now
A few days before Christmas, Jase, a 12 year old neutered male was acting strange. Trying to get a vet with the holidays is very hard. Sadly, Jase died the next day before we could even get a vet out. I found a mass on his liver, so they're was really nothing we could have done for him. He was a very sweet boy, though he was not very social with wanting to be pet.
Then Christmas eve, Lorenzo ate breakfast as normal, but by the time dinner time came around, he could not get up...we helped him to get up only for him to drag his back legs and collapse. He died on Christmas before a vet was able to come. He had an abdomen full of blood. When I finally got to talk to a vet, they said more than likely that sounded like an aneurysm or blood clot..he was a 14 year old neutered male. He was such a cutie with his extremely long tusk (only one since even he was younger, he had broken off the other & it never regrew)
By this time we were already completely devastated with losing them both unexpectedly, then soon after, Earl had quit eating and his leg was so swollen and he would scream if you touched it.
We knew for awhile Earl had problems with a tooth root abcess that we were able to control with antibiotics. He took a turn for the worse and the Monday after Christmas and had to be put to sleep. Earl was a 15 year old neutered male. What a smile this sweet boy had! His buddy Gianni misses him as well, but she's doing good with extra love from us.
All three of these pigs were given up by their owners because they were not wanted anymore. Each of them had some very good years, but also will be very much missed. ❤️ This is the hardest part about sanctuary/ rescue.

Not piggie related today, but our horse, Camryn was all sorts of spunky this morning with the cold!!! Lol. He gets like this on chilly mornings, but this was way more than usually! It's was still only 30° out when I got out to feed him. You finally calmed down when my friend and I were able to get in there with him and get him fed 🐎 🐴 😀
