Meet Benson – brother of Brooks & Beaux, and the self proclaimed funniest of the doodle bunch. (Don’t tell his brothers. 🐾😂)

Born June 5, 2025, Benson—aka Benny—has already perfected the art of sock thievery 🧦, Olympic-level zoomies 🏃‍♂️💨, and claiming the comfiest couch cushions 🛋️ like it’s his full-time job. Basically, he’s a walking sitcom with a wavy coat.

As a Labradoodle, Benny is equal parts Einstein and goofball - people loving, playful, eager to please, and just a little too curious for his own good. With training and plenty of snuggles, he’ll grow into the loyal sidekick you never knew you needed - complete with VIP couch privileges.

And let’s not forget that wavy doodle coat - it doesn’t brush itself! Regular grooming will keep him looking more “handsome beach boy” and less “tumbleweed with legs.”

This 30-pound boy was found wandering a rural road in Southeast Louisiana and ended up in a high kill shelter, where his fear made it hard for him to show his true self. Thankfully, Take Paws Rescue looked past his fear and saw the sweet, loving dog inside. Since being in foster care, Louie has been a joy. He's a high-energy pup who loves to leap and play, so he'd thrive in a home with a tall fenced yard and an active family. Maybe you could even get him started in agility to put those amazing jumping skills to good use! He gets along well with other dogs and would love a home with a canine sibling to help him feel more secure. Louie will come neutered, vaccinated, and he is heartworm negative. He's ready to put his past behind him and find a family that will love him unconditionally, forever.
