brought in by good samaritans wanting to save a life. I also provide a forever home to a number of special needs birds, ducks and chickens and try to educate the public on how to care for our feathered friends. I am a one woman rescue with no help or volunteers and everything I provide for the birds at Kasia’s Ark comes out of my own pocket. I don’t have a facility or shelter and run my little rescue out of my home. Donations are always needed and very much appreciated.

😞I didn't realize when I moved that I also needed to do a change of address for the wishlist, not just my account. Thankfully my kind neighbor kept them safe until I was able to plan a trip to New Orleans. She said I had a couple of packages. 🤣🤣🤣It was more than a couple.

My babies are set for a month, and now have some of the supplies I desperately needed. A couple of things didn't have a QR code or name, so I'm not sure who sent those, but my heart is truly full. I squealed like a child when I opened the red cups. Yes. I got a little too excited over cups like a child on Christmas morning, and scared the birds. 😆

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for making me smile, for your donations, and making my daily load a little lighter. 🥰😌

Since I lost Maya last week, her mate, Maui (he was surrendered because of his deformed feet) hasn’t been eating, doesn’t want to go outside, and just lays in one spot.

I’m now having to tube feed him because he’s losing weight.

Animals grieve. Some simply give up the will to live. I’ve seen it happen several times over the years. Most are fine, but there are also those who are never the same after they lose a mate or best friend. 😞

I’m so tired of my heart constantly breaking.
