I provide food, shelter and any medical care that is needed to orphaned or injured birds, ducks and chickens. I have had great success rehabilitating and releasing hurt and orphaned birds that were

brought in by good samaritans wanting to save a life. I also provide a forever home to a number of special needs birds, ducks and chickens and try to educate the public on how to care for our feathered friends. I am a one woman rescue with no help or volunteers and everything I provide for the birds at Kasia’s Ark comes out of my own pocket. I don’t have a facility or shelter and run my little rescue out of my home. Donations are always needed and very much appreciated.

I meant to post this on Saturday, exactly one week after she came in, but got too busy. She’s still extremely skinny, but slowly gaining weight. She is the friendliest, sweetest pigeon I’ve ever rescued!

PLEASE SHARE!!!

Cockatiel found by the Rosa Keller library in New Orleans being attacked by crows. Slightly injured around the face, missing some feathers, and extremely weak; currently with me and resting. I'll give him or her a full exam in the morning, as s/he’s been through enough stress for one day. A more thorough exam will help me determine if I need to take this baby to the vet. Hopefully, no internal injuries.

Donations are welcome and will allow me to keep Kasia's Ark going. 🥰🙏

PLEASE SHARE!!!

My latest, another “wedding release dove” even though I closed Kasia's Ark Bird Rescue’s doors last year, I still average 1-2 birds a week, and 5-7 calls each day, and I don’t even look at my notifications anymore because I’m tagged in so may bird posts. There is literally NO ONE LEFT in the area that rescues birds, and his only other option was euthanasia.

He’s in really bad shape. When I first got him and set him down, he fell down trying to walk. He’s the most severely emaciated bird I’ve ever seen, literally starving. Not eating enough on his own so I’m also tube feeding him.
