We love seeing puppies! Matai is a 6 month old cutie who came in for a full service bath with Alyssa.

Bringing puppies in young and on a monthly schedule can greatly help them become comfortable in the salon with everything we need to do. Even if you do the services at home too (which is great!), it's not the same as being in a salon with all the things going on around them.

I'm addition to grooming, these visits help with socialization. Socialization is getting your pup(s) out in the world, seeing and hearing all sorts of things, not necessarily meeting other dogs directly. The more they see and experience in a safe way, the more well-rounded and confident they become as adults 🐾

We know there are a lot of groomers to choose from, so why would you choose one versus another?

Every salon has something a little different they bring to the table, so here's our "why us?"

We place a heavy emphasis on continuing education. Groomers are not required to do any learning or training before or during their career. It's a choice to keep learning and evolving, and we choose to keep getting more knowledgeable. We are all certified through International Professional Groomers, Inc.

We love being one-on-one and all-inclusive because it keeps things simple but thorough. Our salon can get loud with dryers and barking, but that's not the normal state of things. You can often hear our music playing in a peaceful salon that has 6 dogs on the table being groomed.

We don't offer spa upgrades because we don't ever offer basic services. We do a complete service every time because we don't believe in cutting any corners.

We have limited kennel time for all of our clients and are appointment only to minimize schedule delays and interruptions to our work. We recently won Bronze at the Idaho's Best Awards and we are so proud of that accomplishment. We want to keep going!

Dogs shed skin cells on about a 3 week schedule, so regular bathing helps keep dander under control. Plus it keeps more loose undercoat in the salon versus in your house 🏠

A full service bath also includes a nail trim + file and ear cleaning.

We love to see puppies in the salon! Birdie is 10 months old and learning how to be a good girl for grooming.

Getting dogs used to grooming salons serves all sorts of purposes. It helps them get used to being handled by new people, helps them see new things and hear new noises, helps get them out of the house and into the world.

It also helps them keep their nails short and round, because puppies have fast growing and often sharp nails that can easily tear skin, and it helps their skin and coat stay clean and healthy as they grow and develop.

Regular bathing can also help rescue your house from the piles of shed hair that build up this time of year ☀️

Ollie is a long-time visitor to the salon. He's going on 16 years old and needs some accommodations for grooming now, like laying down as much as possible for the grooming process.

He's such a good boy that we have to work a little to get him to lay down because he's convinced that he can still stand the two hours needed for his groom service ❤️

We only do what our seniors can tolerate. Sometimes that's just a bath, sometimes it's just a short haircut, sometimes it's everything. Every visit might be different, we just go at their pace.
