Keep your pets safe this holiday weekend and prepare in advance.
1. Take a current picture your pet just in case

2. Make sure their microchip contact info is up to date

3. If your pet has a history of anxiety and needing calming meds forr fireworks or large gathering be sure to refill them in advance.

4. Make sure their area is safe and secure. Sometimes fireworks start early and you want to make sure that gate is closed.

5. Avoid feei g your pet table scraps which can be upsetting to their tummy.

We at MAC are excited to announce that Dr Gentry Brown will be joining our team at the end of August!

Dr. Brown completed her bachelor's degree at Centre College and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. She is excited to bring her passion for animal health and wellbeing to the Middle Tennessee community. Dr. Brown enjoys forming lasting relationships with people and their pets through general practice. She is especially interested in preventative medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, and ultrasound.

Originally from Central Kentucky, Dr. Brown looks forward to exploring and becoming involved in the Murfreesboro area. Outside of work, you can find her running around a Crossfit gym, out on a hiking trail, or curled up with a good book next to her two cats- Flea and Abu.

We are so excited for her to be part of our care team for you and your pets!

It is with great sadness that we let you know the passing of our older clinic cat, Roscoe. We have been treating him for his cancer for a while but today it became clear it was time to say goodbye. Roscoe was dearly loved by so many. He will be greatly missed.

‼️LOST CAT‼️
Shatters my heart that I’m making this post, but one of our cats, Felix (male, neutered, microchipped) slipped out the door tonight. He has not been outside since we rescued him from the streets at ~8wks old, he is now about a year old. He is EXTREMELY skittish, scared easily. If there is any sighting of him, it may be best to not fully approach him and contact me immediately and I will come. If you are able to catch him, please bring him to a vet and have him scanned for his microchip and contact me. He jumped over the fence near the Murfreesboro Municipal Airport and Northfield Lodge apartments on E Northfield Blvd. Please send me a direct message if you have seen him, think you’ve seen him, managed to catch him/ can provide any helpful tips. His fur siblings miss him, and me and his dad are worried sick. Thank you & please please share this. 🖤Bella Orozco
