🌟 Pet of the Week: Ophelia! 🌟

Meet Ophelia — our tiny kitten with a big reputation. Don’t let her size fool you… this little superstar has the confidence of someone who’s been on tour for years.

While she’s been hospitalized with us, Ophelia has taken on the role of morale booster, pocket companion, and unofficial soundtrack creator (her meows are basically acoustic versions). She may be small enough to fit in a cardigan pocket, but she’s got the heart of a fearless warrior and the charm to win over the whole staff.

We’re all rooting for this brave, sparkly girl as she continues her recovery. 💛🐾

🌟 Meet the Staff Monday! 🌟

This week we’re excited to introduce Dr. Sarah Mikhail, one of our amazing veterinarians — and our Employee of the Month for September! 🎉

Dr. Mikhail grew up right here in the Nashville area and spent summers in Egypt surrounded by animals, which sparked her lifelong love for caring for all creatures big and small. 🐾

She earned her veterinary degree from St. George’s University and completed her clinical year at Louisiana State University, where she gained hands-on experience in a wide range of medical and surgical cases. Dr. Mikhail truly shines in our fast-paced emergency environment and is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families. ❤️

When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her spending time with her four dogs or staying active outdoors. We’re so grateful to have her on our team! 👏🐶🐱

🎃👻 **Halloween at AMC** 👻🎃

You know it’s spooky season when even our *patients and staff* get in on the fun! 👇

🐾 A husky came in as a *foreign body* (don’t worry—she’s fine, but that costume was *seriously* creative).
🧓 “Memaw” took over the lab—those test tubes have never been safer.
🕷️ Spider-Man swung by to help wrangle patients (turns out he’s great at catching cats).
🦇 And the rest of the crew brought their *boo*-tiful best!

We love seeing our team’s silly side while keeping tails wagging and whiskers happy. ❤️

Our team will be handing out candy for the kids (and a few special goodies for your pets, too!) all day long — costumes encouraged! 🦇🐾

🐾🎶 **Join Us at Rhythm & Rescues!** 🎶🐾

We’re so excited to be part of this year’s Rhythm and Rescues event in support of Beesley Animal Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing accessible veterinary care and support to our friends in the community that need subsidized veterinary care programs. 💕

Come find our booth — we’ll be there meeting pet parents, saying hi to all the furry friends, and handing out free PUP CUPS!🐶🍦 We’ll also be holding a drawing for a fantastic AMC gift basket!

Bring your pets, enjoy some great music, and help support a fantastic cause that keeps tails wagging and hearts happy!

Our tiniest team member, Peets, has been busy “helping” around the clinic — today he’s double-checking our supply of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention!

Peets wants to remind all our wonderful pet parents that even though it’s starting to feel like fall in Tennessee, parasites don’t take a season off. Our mild winters mean fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes can still be active year-round — and we want every pet in our community to stay safe and healthy!

So if you’re running low on prevention, stop by and say hi 👋 — Peets might even supervise your purchase himself. 😺

Together, we can keep our furry friends protected all year long. ❤️

🚪🔔 **Exciting Update at AMC!** 🔔🚪

We’ve made it even easier for our after-hours emergency patients to get help FAST! 🐾

There’s now a new doorbell in our vestibule for emergency use after hours. Instead of calling the clinic to alert our team, you can simply press the doorbell, and our staff will be notified right away.

This small change means quicker response times and faster care for pets in urgent situations ❤️

We know every second counts when your furry family member needs help, and we’re always looking for ways to make your experience smoother and safer.

📍Just look for the doorbell in our front vestibule next time you visit—it’s there to help when it matters most!
