Toxic Algae and Bacteria

Blue-Green Algae (Cyanobacteria): Thrives in warm summer waters; looks like pea soup or spilled green paint. Ingesting or licking it off fur can cause rapid liver failure, seizures, and death within minutes. Check local guidance from the Wisconsin DHS before heading out.
