Dogs are very susceptible to heat and can suffer from heatstroke, especially in hot and humid conditions. Temperatures above 89°F (31.6°C) can be dangerous for many dogs, and some may even be at risk at temperatures in the 70s (21-26°C). It's crucial to provide shade and fresh water, avoid strenuous exercise during peak heat, and never leave a dog unattended in a vehicle.

Kidney disease, specifically chronic kidney disease (CKD), is a common condition in cats, especially as they age. It's a progressive illness where the kidneys gradually lose their ability to function properly, and there's no cure. However, with proper management, the progression can be slowed, and symptoms can be managed to improve the cat's quality of life. Please consider a checkup. Proactive and preventative care is far better than waiting.
