I’m not sure if anyone heard of fading puppy syndrome or Canine herpes? Unfortunately I learned a lot in a short time, Paige’s litter started as 11 and is now down to 4 strong fighting puppies, but they are still fighting everyday,
This isn’t anything that came from my Kennel but from someone unknowingly bringing there pup here without knowledge of the situation,
But with this uneducated virus I am asking everyone to please spend the money to diagnose if your dog is a carrier, and unfortunately if you decide not to spend the money to diagnose your dog. , unfortunately your puppy will not be excepted here again!!!! With every dog that comes here I give them better than home experience, but with the loss of a great litter I plea to you to let me k is where this started, I promise no remorse or showing, but my kennel definitely needs answers so please assist

I want to thank everyone who attended the 2026 chukar challenge the year, and a special thanks to Jenny, Jeremy,Sarah and Rich, for helping out and keeping things moving, And a very special thanks to Craig And Jody ( Lone Oak shooting preserve) if it wasn’t for their generosity of letting us hold it there, this event wouldn’t be happening,
This was one of the best events we had, and I’m excited for the 2027 chukar challenge, thanks everyone ones again for coming and thanks to everyone who brought a dish to pass around, pictures to come soon,
Congrats to the winners, but in my opinion everyone won this weekend, great dogs great people and great friends new and old.




For the people that said you were coming and wanted a hoodie, your hoodies are here and I really hope you plan on picking them up soon, and plan on paying for your spot at the chukar challenge, the birds were pre paid by me And Sarah paid for your hoodies please don’t waste mine or Sarah’s money, thank you

Catch earned 5 gold stars in his first solo pheasant hunt, he came to training as a 8 wk old puppy, we have built a bond and understanding of what I expect of him in the field. And as a family dog, between house breaking and upland training Catch has made strides in his ability to be an A-class hunting and family dog, in a few short months he is holding points. Marking birds and retrieving to hand, he sits on command and stays on command, for being such a young puppy, I am extremely proud to be the trainer,
With that said he is still a puppy, and does puppy things, but in the field he is a true hunting dog!!
