Meet Dory, one of our kookaburras! 🐦
Known for their famous “laughing” call, kookaburras are native to Australia and part of the kingfisher family. Dory can often be heard letting out her signature laugh, which sounds a lot like jungle laughter echoing through the aviary. Next time you visit, see if you can catch her in the middle of a giggle!

🐍 Happy 3rd Birthday, Kronos!

Our Eastern Indigo Snake is growing fast. His most recent shed measured almost 6 feet long! Kronos loves climbing on branches, working for snacks with hollee balls, and enjoying his favorite treats!

He will keep growing for another 2 to 4 years, so he’s only just getting started. Stop by and wish this handsome guy a happy birthday!

📣 Continued Maintenance!

The African Plains Building will be closed for improvements on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. There will be no giraffe feedings while this maintenance is taking place.

🍎 Usually our primates get apple slices for enrichment, but this time we mixed it up with a whole apple! Safe to say Huey loved taking big bites out of this treat!
