These ladies are the ones handling that 80 lb dog or that angry cat. They are the ones that make sure the doctor and techs don’t get bit or scratched when they are doing their exam or diagnostics. They also help fill medications, keep the doctors on track, communicate to clients, and fill in as receptionists. They quite literally do it all and we are so grateful for all their hard work. This little guy has quite the story. He is currently being kept at our clinic so he can be on cage rest because he has a broken pelvis 😣 It’s broken between the ilium and the p***s, but lucky for him he is young and he may be able to fully heal without any surgery! If he continues to have difficulty with the right rear leg we may need to perform a FHO surgery, which is a femoral head ostectomy. This is a common procedure that allows cats with hip or joint issues to have a better quality of life with better mobility and less pain. We will continue to post updates on his healing journey!
