Hi, I’m Maggie Mae — and yes, the spotlight does belong on me! 🎤✨

I’m a 7-year-old girl with a big personality and an even bigger love for you. I’m not shy about it — when I meet people, I fully expect a proper greeting (I mean, who could resist saying hi to this face?).

I love my ball. Like, obsessed. I have this cool ball launcher gun, but my people don’t use it nearly enough. (We need to talk about that, by the way.) I also enjoy a good chase — lizards, rabbits, you name it — I’ll keep your yard free of intruders!

I get along just fine with other dogs, but let’s be honest — my human is my favorite. I’m a total companion dog at heart. I spend most of my time lounging on the couch or soaking up the chill vibes on the cool tile floor.

I would absolutely love to go on more walks — sniffing, exploring, strutting my stuff — but I haven’t been getting enough lately. If you’re up for it, I’m more than ready to hit the pavement or the trail with you!

Hi, I’m Chloe – your future shadow and snuggle buddy.

I’m an 8-year-old Black Lab with a heart as big as my smile—and I’ve got so much love to give. Whether we’re going for a walk, splashing in a pool, or just soaking up the A/C, I’m happiest when I’m right by your side.

Right now, I’m living outdoors, but I dream of soft beds, cool air, and cozy moments inside with someone who loves me. I’m friendly with other dogs and always greet them with wiggles and a happy tail. And when it comes to people? I adore them all. I’ll follow you from room to room just to be close.

Even though I’m a little older, I still love to play, go for daily walks, and share new adventures. I’m ready to bring so much joy to the right home.

🐾 Happy Tails Update: Sammy 🐾

From the moment Sammy walked into his new home, he’s been on a mission to bring joy, comfort, and a little extra love to those around him. Life took an unexpected turn for Sammy but it led him straight to some people who needed him most. Now, he’s thriving in his new role bringing smiles and companionship to residents at an assisted living facility. His family recently shared this touching moment, saying, “Here’s Sammy in his element. He was a rockstar!”

It’s a beautiful reminder when one dog finds their forever home, the impact reaches far beyond that single life.

None of this would be possible without the dedication of our volunteers — the transporters who drive the miles, the medical coordinators who ensure every dog gets the care they need, the fosters who open their hearts and homes and the donors who make it all possible.

Because of you all, Sammy is changing lives and we couldn’t be more grateful. ❤️

Moose has been searching for his furever home for nearly 150 days. They have shared the following notes about Moose-

Moose is a 3-year-old Chocolate Lab with a love for life and an engine that never stops! He came to us with a few behavioral quirks and training needs, and we’re proud to say he’s made incredible strides since then. He knows all his basic commands, is respectful in play with other dogs, and thrives with structure, daily enrichment, and clear boundaries. He can still be a bit territorial around high-value items like food, so we recommend feeding separately. But with people, Moose is affectionate, playful, and motivated to please. Best Fit: An active family who can give Moose the structure, energy outlet, and continued training support he deserves — a pool or a big yard with fetch time would be his dream!

The more consistent my days are, the more secure I feel—and that’s when I truly blossom.

I’m an active dog who needs regular outdoor time to keep me happy & healthy! I absolutely love hiking, trail walks, & running in wide open fields. There’s nothing I enjoy more than stretching my legs & exploring the great outdoors. I also adore swimming & will happily splash around in any body of water I can find. 🖤Grits – A Big Softie with a Bigger Heart🖤

At 10 years old and 110 lbs, Grits is the definition of a gentle giant. With his calm, steady presence, he’s the perfect laid-back companion. Whether he’s sunbathing in the yard or snoozing at your feet while you relax on the couch, Grits just wants to be close to his people.

He’s lived peacefully with other dogs and even cats—his easygoing personality and lack of prey drive make him a lovely match for a quiet home. Grits greets new people with soft eyes and a gentle wag, never in a rush, always composed.

These days, his pace is a little slower, and he has some arthritis in his back legs. But he still manages a few stairs, like the four leading into his foster home. When it’s time for a car ride, he’ll place his front paws up to help—you just need to give him a boost for the rest.

Belly rubs, treats, and the comfort of being near his humans are his favorite things. If you’re looking for a loyal, mellow friend to share your days with, Grits is ready to warm your heart (and your feet).

💕Lexi: The Sweet & Spirited Sidekick You’ve Been Waiting For! 💕

Lexi is a bright-eyed, fun-loving puppy with an affectionate heart and endless curiosity. At just 8 months old, she’s full of typical puppy energy and always ready for her next adventure — especially if it includes playtime with another dog! Lexi would thrive in a home with a playful, patient canine companion who can help her learn the ropes and burn off some of that wiggle energy.

Lexi is social and friendly with both people and other dogs. She’s excited to meet new faces and is learning how to channel her enthusiasm with gentle manners. Once she’s had her playtime, Lexi is happy to settle in for a cuddle session. She absolutely adores affection — often offering her paw as a sweet way of asking for attention or connection.

Her days are filled with toy time (Benebones, tug-of-war, and frozen Kongs with peanut butter and banana are top-tier favorites) and playtime. When she’s ready to rest, you’ll find her snoozing on the dog bed or curling up on the couch.

Lexi has a curious streak — she loves watching birds and squirrels through the window, but when she’s outside, her instincts kick in and she’s eager to chase! Because of this, a secure fenced yard is a must for her continued enrichment, exercise, and safe exploration.

This clever girl rides well in the car, too — she settles fairly quickly but may need to be secured in the back seat to prevent any curious climbs to the front.
