Just a heads up, we all know the Fourth of July is coming up soon. Now is a good time to start desensitizing your dog to firework sounds, if you have not started that training already.

And if your dog requires medication for anxiety, or if you have not tried that yet, get into your vet early and have that conversation.

Holidays do not have to be stressful!

Do you adventure outdoors with your dog?

Snake sunning season is coming up, and First Due K9 can train your dog to avoid snakes!

Jack is demonstrating here that he could care less that there is literally a snake RIGHT there. Snakes have bubbles and we need to stay out of them!

Black snakes are of little concern, but should your dog be enticed by one of Virginia’s venemous snakes, then you have a problem!

I took the photo below a couple of years ago. Can you spot all the snakes? 🐍

We ❤️ puppies!

Marley is 11 weeks old today and is all puppy! 🐾

He has completed three Puppy Training sessions and is a little rock star! 🔥

He is Puppy Proficient with sit, down, wait, leave it, come, crating, break, and is learning to walk on the left side, playing tug, out, not being mouthy, not jumping, and is doing amazing with his impulse control training.

He lives for treats and loves making his owners happy and being a good boy!

Treadmill exercise is a great way to maintain your dog’s physical and mental fitness.

Especially on days where outdoor exercise is not an option.

Here, K9 Kalix demonstrates a comfortable trot on her home treadmill.

Owner/Trainer, Alicia, rewards her for staying in place, maintaining a loose leash, and focusing on her task. She is also rewarded with peanut butter and is now working on the treadmill leash free and eager to run!

She loves it! ❤️
