Rabies is deadly, but 100% preventable with vaccination. Make sure your pet is up to date on their rabies vaccine.

With severe weather on the horizon, it’s important to make sure your pets are just as prepared as you are. Here's what to pack in a pet emergency kit and how to keep them safe during a storm:

🧳 Pet Emergency Kit Essentials:
✔️ 3–5 days’ worth of food & water
✔️ Bowls, can opener (if needed)
✔️ Medications & medical records
✔️ Leash, collar, ID tags
✔️ Crate or carrier
✔️ Litter, disposable bags, p*e pads
✔️ Blanket or toy for comfort
✔️ Recent photo of your pet (in case you get separated)
✔️ Copy of vaccination records

⚡ Storm Safety Tips for Pets:

Due to the State of Emergency and severe weather expected in our area, Bound Brook Veterinary Clinic will be closing early today at 5:00 PM to ensure the safety of our team and clients.

Please take extra precautions, stay safe, and don’t forget to fill extra water for both yourselves and your pets in case of power outages or service disruptions.
