As I wish to keep all of you wonderful clients updated, I have recently joined the team at Good-bye Stinky Paws, located in Rockaway, NJ. The grand opening is this Sunday!! Please feel free to come stop in, checkout the salon, and meet the rest of the staff. They are fantastic!!

I am currently there part time, but that may change over to full time. If so, I will be unable to continue with house calls. In the meantime, I will continue as much as I can.

I have had a few people reach out looking to book appointments, but unable to be home when I am available. So, I wanted to let everyone know that I do offer latch key services. I can come pickup a spare key, which I keep on a designated keychain for latch key clients. While I am there, you can show me where to setup for the groom day. On the day of the appointment, I will text you that I’ve arrived and when I leave, and I will leave the space how I found it.

Latch key services allow you to go about your day as usual, whether it be work or events or errands. You won’t have to miss work or events. You won’t have to worry about running behind on errands and being late to get back. And you wont have to worry about needing to cancel due to last minute changes to your schedule, because you can do what you need to while I groom your furry little friend.

If you are interested in latch key services, shoot me a text or a message on social media, and I we can setup a time for me to pickup keys.

I have a few openings this week and next week! I know there are several holidays coming up. Orthodox Easter, Cinco de Mayo, Mothers Day, etc.

Here are the days I have and what areas I will be in

-Wednesday 4/24= Morning availability in the Middlesex/Plainfield/Dunellen/Piscataway area.
-Thursday 4/25= Afternoon/evening availability in the East Windsor/Princeton area.
-Friday 4/26= All day availability, any area.

-Tuesday 4/30= afternoon/evening availability in Middlesex/Plainfield/Dunellen/Piscataway area.
-Wednesday 5/1= afternoon availability in the East Windsor/Princeton area.
-Thursday 5/2= all day availability, any area
-Friday 5/3= all day availability, any area.

Currently, I am offering appointments 4 days during the week and every 3rd weekend. This is subject to change in the future as I settle into this.

Hey everyone. Shay here. I’m want to apologize to everyone for going MIA on you. I feel I owe you an explanation, and I’m you’re going to get a peek into my personal life.
After shutting down the salon, I went through some hardships in my personal life. I left the man I had spent 12 years with. I left the house I was living in and have been staying with a friend 45 minutes away. I do not have a vehicle of my own. I use her car when I can to run errands or pick up/drop off my kids. I ended up very depressed as I watched everything I have built fall to pieces around me. Mentally and emotionally, I shut down… Physically, my body needed a break and started to shut down as well. I apologize deeply for disappearing, but I needed to figure some stuff out, like where to go from here.
I am doing much better now, and I want to thank everyone who has reached out and tracked me down on my personal accounts to check on me. I am still here, and I am coming back, hopefully soon.
I am still living with my friend, and still without a vehicle, however I am shopping for one. At the moment, the biggest hurdle is the funds to buy a vehicle. I have nothing saved, and I have not been working steadily. I have done Instacart here and there just to get by with my bills. My credit is shot, and I do not qualify for loans or financing. So, saving up is a bit hard. Once I finally have a vehicle, I will stick to my word and do home grooms.
I will be back!!! Hopefully sooner than later. I love you all and miss your fur babies like crazy.
