“Dining Under the Stars has been an incredible opportunity for Penn State Brandywine and the Alumni Society to connect with the Media community and showcase our campus,” said Dana Hallahan, assistant director of alumni relations at Penn State Brandywine. “Various departments highlighted the amazing resources and talent we have, including our new NCAA Division III athletics teams, student startups through the LaunchBox, and faculty-led research initiatives. “The STC mission is to plant and maintain a variety of shade and flowering trees within the Borough of Media to beautify and improve our quality of life.”

We’re thrilled to welcome the Penn State Brandywine Alumni Society as our Dining Under the Stars September sponsor! 💙✨🤍

“Dining Under the Stars has been a worthwhile event for the Alumni Society, supporting the strategic initiatives of Penn State Brandywine. The group has excelled in showcasing a Penn State campus that many in the community did not know existed in their county,” said Dana Hallahan, assistant director of alumni relations at Penn State Brandywine. “Last year, they engaged with 300 individuals and connected with 100 Penn Staters. This event has strengthened connections, significantly enhanced the campus's presence and reputation within the community, and has become a cherished tradition for the Society."

This week’s featured non-profit, sponsored by , is the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County, Inc. (DAP). 💜🤍💜

DAP was created in 1976 as part of a movement to provide safety, advocacy and supportive services to victims of domestic abuse not otherwise available within our county.

“Today, we remain the only provider of services exclusive to victims of domestic violence in Delaware County. Each year, thousands of survivors of abuse and their children are supported through our 24/7 hotline, emergency safe shelter, counseling, legal services, and advocacy. Thrift & Thrive, our shop in Drexel Hill, supports this mission with 100% of the profits going back to supporting survivors."
