NOT EVERY PET HAS FUR. 🦎🐢

Today we’re celebrating reptiles and the people who love them!

Meet Slash, one of our green iguana clients.

Did you know that iguanas have a 'third eye' on the top of their head? This helps them regulate their circadian rhythm and hormones, detect predators from above, and find the most nutrient-rich leaves to eat in the wild.

We love learning what makes every species unique. ❤️🐾

HALLOWEEN IS FUN. CHOCOLATE IS NOT. 🎃🐕

A few quick reminders before the trick-or-treaters arrive:

🍫 Keep chocolate away from pets
🍬 Keep candy out of reach
🎃 Watch curious pets around decorations
🚪 Be careful when opening the door
👻 Give nervous pets a quiet place to escape the chaos

Your pet does NOT need to know what they’re missing. 😂

A LITTLE STEPH STORY FOR NATIONAL VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK ❤️🐾

Before Steph’s Pet Sitting became what it is today, Steph spent 16 years working as a veterinary technician.

That experience shaped everything about this business.

Check out her new About Steph page to learn more about the Vet Tech who runs the company.

“ Life is all about finding your rhythm—whether that’s on stage, at the pinball machine, or caringfor the animals that make this community feel like home.”

THROW THE BALL. 🎾

We bring it back.

You throw it again.

That’s the deal.

Except sometimes we forget the “bring it back” part. 😂🐕

Happy National Fetch Day!

Does YOUR dog actually retrieve the ball?

MEET AMY! 🐾❤️

Amy has been part of our team for almost 4 years and helps care for our Media pets every week. Here are some things about Amy...

Favorite animal to care for:
"That's a hard one, but I love caring for dogs. I have had dogs my whole life, and they just have a special place."

Own pets:
"I currently have 2 dogs, Ruby and Stevie, both rescues and foster fails. At one time I had 5 dogs and 2 cats all at once, all rescues."

Funniest pet story:
"This is a constant funny story. My dog Stevie is a total goof; she cracks me up because whenever someone comes over, she races around the house to find a toy to show them and wag her butt. She just gets so excited; it makes me laugh every day."

We asked Amy one very important question:

“If you could have ANY animal as a pet, what would it be?”
Answer:
"If I could have any animal as a pet, it would be a dwarf goat. They are just so stinkin' cute and playful!

We’re lucky to have Amy on the team!
