Bubba is still looking for his forever home! 🏠 ❤️

Meet Bubba 🐶🐾

If any one deserves a second chance, it is this guy.

Bubba came to us late one Friday because someone found him in their neighborhood. We scanned him for a microchip and thankfully- we found one. The man who found him raved about what a good dog he was. However after calling his people, they were not interested in taking him back. He has been with us ever since.

He has had his Rabies Vaccine, Distemper-Parvo, a f***l, and been neutered. We gave him a Credelio Quattro last week so he is up to date on prevention and he weighs around 80 pounds.

He is the BEST boy with the sweetest soul. He has been great with any dog we introduce him to here, even a small one that took his playing to be too rough and got mad at him. He did not show any issues and just stepped back. He chases the cats a little here but would probably be fine with just some redirection. He has been around two six year olds human children and even though they were loud he did not seemed to be bothered by them.

He did get out of our fence a couple times when left unattended but did not go far and came when we called him (and that was his first day here). We have been battling some diarrhea with him but we are unsure if a stable environment where he gets less cage time and more play time with socialization would help. He has only had one accident in the cage the entire week or so he has been here. We bought him a bag of Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Stomach to see if that would help him. He will start that this week.

This girl came in for a dental on Friday and just wasn’t enjoying the cage so between a few of us, we made sure she was comfortable until her family came to get her. She really enjoyed resting her head on my arm and I’ll admit I enjoyed her too. ❤️

Frances is here to tell you that laser therapy is cool 😎

As you can see here she was rocking her doggles and enjoying some extra TLC on her hurt leg.
