Macy got some behind the scenes snuggles with Beyonce while Dr. Thomas was finishing with another patient! We are always happy to give some extra cuddles when our patients want it 🐶❤️

Abbie came in and was locked in on our kitties! Her silly face and lack of concern for anything going on around her made all of us (and her parents) get a good laugh in after a busy day.

Mollie Mandrake came in for surgery but she left in style! You couldn’t help smile looking at her in her stroller. We enjoyed her hanging out with us on Monday and wish her the best while healing!

We missed National Dog Photography Day by a few days but I guess that gives us more reason to celebrate all of our furbabies!

All of these beautiful photographs have been taken by Sarah Jane Moore Pet Photography. She is a Licensed Veterinary Technician that used to work at our practice but has a special heart and touch for pet photography.

She offers different sessions for pets, including the most special session, The Charlie Anne. This is for pets who are terminally ill or are near the end of their life. I wish I would have done this with my own pets that I have lost to cherish those last few precious days with them.

Remember to give your pets that need medication at the least one hour before, bring them inside, and even put on a TV or radio to help drown out the noise.

Bubba is still looking for his forever home! 🏠 ❤️

Meet Bubba 🐶🐾

If any one deserves a second chance, it is this guy.

Bubba came to us late one Friday because someone found him in their neighborhood. We scanned him for a microchip and thankfully- we found one. The man who found him raved about what a good dog he was. However after calling his people, they were not interested in taking him back. He has been with us ever since.

He has had his Rabies Vaccine, Distemper-Parvo, a f***l, and been neutered. We gave him a Credelio Quattro last week so he is up to date on prevention and he weighs around 80 pounds.

He is the BEST boy with the sweetest soul. He has been great with any dog we introduce him to here, even a small one that took his playing to be too rough and got mad at him. He did not show any issues and just stepped back. He chases the cats a little here but would probably be fine with just some redirection. He has been around two six year olds human children and even though they were loud he did not seemed to be bothered by them.

He did get out of our fence a couple times when left unattended but did not go far and came when we called him (and that was his first day here). We have been battling some diarrhea with him but we are unsure if a stable environment where he gets less cage time and more play time with socialization would help. He has only had one accident in the cage the entire week or so he has been here. We bought him a bag of Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Stomach to see if that would help him. He will start that this week.

This girl came in for a dental on Friday and just wasn’t enjoying the cage so between a few of us, we made sure she was comfortable until her family came to get her. She really enjoyed resting her head on my arm and I’ll admit I enjoyed her too. ❤️
