🎃👻 A little Halloween fun at Southern Trails Vet! 🐾

Our team is getting into the spooky spirit!

We traded our scrubs for costumes and brought some extra Halloween fun to the clinic! Don't worry, we're still taking pet care seriously. Ourselves? Not so much. 🧡

Wishing all our furry friends and their families a safe and Happy Halloween! 🐶🐱🎃

Our favorite Halloween treat? Seeing our patients happy, healthy, and feeling their best! 🧡

As you stock up on goodies for trick-or-treaters, remember that candy and many seasonal sweets aren't safe for pets. Keep treats somewhere curious paws can't reach, and offer your pet a pet-safe snack instead.

Planning a busy Halloween night? Make sure your pet has a safe, quiet spot to unwind if the costumes, visitors, and excitement become a little too much.

From all of us at Southern Trails Vet, we hope you and your furry family members have a safe, happy, and frightfully fun Halloween! 🎃👻

What's one Halloween tradition your pet is part of every year?

Being part of the Evans community means more to us than caring for pets inside our hospital. It means showing up, lending a hand, and working alongside people who share our love for animals.

Yesterday, our Southern Trails Vet team had the pleasure of partnering with That's What Friends Are For to provide spay and neuter surgeries for cats in our community! 🐈

We're grateful for organizations like That's What Friends Are For and the important work they do for local animals. It's a privilege to put our veterinary team's skills to work alongside people who care so deeply.

We're not just a veterinary hospital in Evans. We're your neighbors, and we're proud to be part of this community. ❤️

Your pet's health is a team effort, and you deserve to feel like part of that team. 🐾

At Southern Trails Vet, we believe great veterinary care means more than examining your pet. It means listening to your concerns, answering your questions, and explaining your options so you can make confident decisions for your furry family member.

No pressure. No silly questions. Just honest guidance and a team that genuinely cares.

That's the kind of relationship we want every pet family in Evans to experience. ❤️

Halloween is almost here, and while we love all the spooky fun, some of our favorite traditions can pose risks for our pets! 🎃🐾

Chocolate, sugar-free candy containing xylitol, and curious noses exploring Halloween decorations can quickly turn a fun night into a stressful one.

Keep candy bowls out of reach, make sure decorations are pet-safe, and give your furry friends a quiet, comfortable place to relax away from the doorbell and trick-or-treaters.

A little preparation can go a long way toward keeping Halloween happy and safe for everyone!

Have questions about something your pet got into? Contact your veterinarian for guidance.

Your friends deserve a veterinarian who will listen, explain their options, answer their questions, and love on their pets a little too much.

Just saying. 😉

Refer them to Southern Trails for a limited time and they’ll get 10% off their visit. You’ll get a $20 credit on your account.

No limit on referrals. Send your people to our people.

Things our vet techs are really good at:

🐾 Convincing suspicious dogs that we're actually pretty nice.

🐾 Getting cats to cooperate. Sometimes.

🐾 Remembering approximately 600 pet names.

🐾 Handling the gross stuff without blinking.

🐾 Knowing when a patient needs a little extra love.

Oh, and they're also incredibly skilled medical professionals. Kind of a big deal.

Happy Vet Tech Week to our awesome crew! We love you guys!

🎃👻🍬 We loved getting to see so many familiar faces, meet some new ones, and hang out with our Evans community at Trunk-or-Treat last night at Evans Towne Center!

One of our favorite things about being a locally owned vet clinic is getting to be part of the community outside of the exam room, too. ❤️

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hey! We had a blast, and we're already looking forward to next year! 🧡🐾

If your dog shakes in the parking lot or your cat lets you know exactly how they feel about the carrier, you're not alone! 💛

Vet visits can be overwhelming for some pets, especially those who've had stressful experiences in the past. Patience, gentle handling, and paying attention to your pet's comfort can make a meaningful difference.

At Southern Trails Vet, we work to create a calmer experience and meet pets where they are. Some of our team members are Fear Free Certified, and low-stress care is an important part of our approach.

Have a nervous pet? Let us know when scheduling so we can talk about ways to make their next visit easier. 🐾

It's Vet Tech Week, and we have some pretty amazing people to celebrate!

Our techs do A LOT. They're drawing blood, monitoring anesthesia, comforting nervous pets, helping our doctors, and doing about 47 other things before lunch.

And they do it because they genuinely love what they do (even on the days when someone gets peed on before 9 AM).

We're so lucky to have this crew taking care of our patients. They work hard, they care big, and Southern Trails wouldn't be the same without them.

Help us give them some love this week! 💙
