Meet Hamlet! 💙🐾

This handsome 8-year-old French Bulldog gave everyone a scare after jumping off the bed last week. Since then, he's been dealing with some back and leg pain. 😔

After being examined by our veterinary team, Hamlet was started on pain medication and is now beginning a course of laser therapy to help reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and promote healing. Today he received his first laser treatment, and we're excited to help him on his road to recovery!

French Bulldogs and other short-legged breeds can be prone to back injuries, so it's always a good idea to help them avoid jumping from high furniture whenever possible.

Join us in wishing Hamlet a speedy recovery! ❤️ Drop him some love in the comments—we know he'll appreciate all the well wishes! 🐶✨

🧛‍♂️ Plot twist: the vampire wasn't the biggest threat... the mosquito was. 🦟😂

Our furry friend may be running from a vampire, but the real villains are the ones you can't always see—mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks!

🏃💨 Run to NexGard PLUS for monthly protection against:
🩸 Heartworm disease
🕷️ Fleas
✔️ Ticks
🪱 Plus additional intestinal parasites

The only thing your pet should be scared of this summer is missing treat time! 🍖

Give us a call to make sure your pet is up to date on their monthly prevention. Because unlike vampires... mosquitoes don't wait until Halloween. 😉🎃

🧄 Vampire repellant? Optional.
💚 NexGard PLUS? Absolutely essential.

🐾 A Purr-fectly Successful TNR Day! 🐾

What an amazing day at All God's Creatures Veterinary Hospital!💚

Today, we were honored to partner with That's What Friends Are For, Inc and Lorna Barrett for a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) event, where we were able to spay 14 female cats and neuter 6 male cats—helping a total of 20 community cats live healthier lives while reducing future litters.

TNR is one of the most humane and effective ways to help manage community cat populations. Spaying and neutering not only prevents unwanted litters but also offers important health benefits, including reducing the risk of certain cancers and infections, decreasing roaming and fighting, and helping pets live longer, healthier lives.

A huge thank you to everyone who made today possible. It truly takes a community working together to make a difference, and we're proud to be part of that effort. ❤️

Together, we're creating a healthier future—one cat at a time. 🐱💚

💧 Beat the heat, one sip at a time! 🐶☀️

Hot summer days mean your pets need plenty of fresh, clean water to stay happy and healthy. Keep water bowls filled, bring water along on walks, and encourage frequent drink breaks when spending time outdoors.

A hydrated pet is a happy pet! ❤️🐾

🚨 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐮𝐤𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐭 𝐎𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰 🐱💔

Recently, we have seen several cases of 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐮𝐤𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚 (also known as 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐨 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐬) in our clinic. Sadly, despite aggressive treatment, we have also lost a few precious kittens to this devastating disease. We want to help spread awareness so more cats can be protected.

🐾 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐮𝐤𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚?
Panleukopenia is a highly contagious viral disease that primarily affects kittens and unvaccinated cats. It attacks the immune system and rapidly dividing cells in the body, making it difficult for affected cats to fight infection.

⚠️ 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞:
• Severe lethargy
• Loss of appetite
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea (sometimes bloody)
• Fever
• Dehydration
• Sudden death

🦠 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝?
The virus is spread through contact with infected cats, their f***s, or contaminated environments. You, as an owner, can even bring it into the environment on clothing or shoes. It is extremely hardy and can survive for months to over a year on surfaces if not properly disinfected.

💉 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬? 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞!
Vaccination is the best protection against Panleukopenia. Kittens should receive their vaccine series on schedule, and adult cats should stay current on their booster vaccinations.

If your cat or kitten develops any of the symptoms listed above, don't wait. Early veterinary care gives them the best chance for recovery.

Let's work together to keep our feline friends safe. If you have questions about your cat's vaccination status or need to schedule an appointment, give us a call. ❤️🐾

Veterinarians in South Florida are urging cat owners to watch for symptoms as a stronger feline virus is making adult cats seriously ill and causing deaths in some cases.

🕷️ 𝕋𝕚𝕔𝕜 𝔸𝕨𝕒𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤: Tiny Pests, Big Problems! 🐾

Ticks are more than just a nuisance—they can transmit serious diseases to both pets and people. The good news? Prevention is the best protection!

Here are a few simple ways to help keep your pets safe:
🐶 Keep them on year-round flea and tick prevention.
🌿 Check your pets for ticks after walks, hikes, or time spent outdoors.
🏡 Keep your yard trimmed and remove leaf litter where ticks like to hide.
👩‍⚕️ Contact your veterinarian if you find a tick or notice your pet acting lethargic, limping, running a fever, or losing their appetite.

Even indoor pets can be exposed, since ticks can hitch a ride inside on people or other animals.

Not sure if your pet is on the right flea and tick prevention? Give us a call—we're happy to help you choose the best option to keep your furry family members protected all year long! ❤️🐾

💕𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬!💕

Our sweet senior girl, Bella, came to see us after experiencing weakness and lameness in her back legs. She was diagnosed with 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 (𝐈𝐕𝐃𝐃), a condition that can affect mobility and quality of life.

Over the past couple of weeks, Bella has been coming in for laser therapy three times a week, and we couldn't be happier with her progress! 🥹❤️ Thanks to her treatments, plenty of TLC, and her determination, Bella is now able to get around on her own again.

Watching patients like Bella regain their mobility is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Keep up the great work, sweet girl—we're all cheering you on! 🐾💙

If your pet is showing signs of pain, limping, weakness, or difficulty getting around, don't wait to have them evaluated. There may be treatment options, like laser therapy, that can help improve their comfort and mobility.
