***PROJECT PUP-DATE***

When I started back in November of 2023 this is how cat adoption looked. You can see the conditions of the room and the floors and the old chain link and the color that hadn't been updated in a while. The staff did everything they could on a daily basis to keep it clean and inviting as possible, but decades of wear and tear have a way of aging all things.

Thanks to support from our community we were finally able to do some updates to our facility. We are very proud to reveal the newly updated Cat Adoption Room! And remember THIS is what your support helps do!! Along with providing outreach opportunities and give backs to the community that supports us.

We saved big bucks doing the demo and prep work ourselves. And we got out of the way when the professionals came. We have all new floor kennels and 2 brand new rolling banks for our cats. Altogether this was roughly a $30,000 dollar project. From New sealed floors (with hidden cat shaped flakes) to updated rolling kennels and paint and polish to match.

To see the new area completely decorated and occupied by an adoptable you will have to come out in person 😉. Make sure to fill out an application before hand so you can have full access to our adoption room itself and one on one introductions with adoptables provided by the best team of crazy cat ladies (and Todd 🫶) you will ever find.

**Applications are free and can be done on your phone in just a few mins. We keep them on file for 3 months, just in case you're 'just not sure'....yet. Filling out an application doesn't lock you in or obligate you to adopt. But since we are not a petting zoo and too much stimulation from guests can actually be harmful to the feline's wellbeing, we limit access to applied applications only. If you wish only to socialize with the animals we encourage you to reach out to our outreach coordinator to become a volunteer and after an orientation you can come in as often as you want to socialize with the animals. 🐾🫶🐾**
