This June, Good Mews is taking on our biggest challenge yet: helping 100 KITTENS get the care they need before finding forever homes!

But to do this, we’re going to need additional foster families to support us.

Whether you’re a new or experienced foster, we’ll help you every step of the way, supplying you with supplies and medical care.

Hello everyone! We’re Mazzy and Persephone. We came to GM two months ago in hopes of finding our forever home. So far, no luck. When the vote went out for the June Featured Cat, ALL the kitties voted for us! I guess they are keeping an eye on what’s going on in the kitten room, and they are seeing little ones enter and then leave. But they haven’t seen us leave so I guess they feel sorry for us. Which is nice of them, but kind of bums us out. We are also seeing the little ones leave with new families and it hurts our feelings that nobody wants us. We know we are shy and we really can’t compete with them. We aren’t running all over the place, playing, jumping in laps, and curling up in the human’s arms for a nap. We do enjoy being petted, but we prefer it to happen when it is quiet in the shelter. On the weekends it’s pretty busy with lots of people in the kitten room, so our sweet personalities really don’t have the chance to shine. But maybe being the featured cats will help. We just need a patient family that will give us time to adjust to a new home. We think a quiet home would be best for us. In our previous temp home, there were other kitties and we got along great with them. So we would do well in a multi-pet home. Or just the two of us would be nice too. We are now 10 months old and we are getting nervous we will have to leave the kitten room soon. So hopefully someone will want to give us a chance. Hi friends! It’s Tiny! Those of you that know me, can you believe I haven’t been adopted yet?? I’ve been here a little over 2 months and no luck. Bummer. I mean, I’m super cute, tiny (like my name indicates), outgoing, playful, and affectionate. Geez, what more could someone ask for in a kitty! I’m the best, in my humble opinion. I enjoy meeting people and having a good time. I love to play and run around the shelter. I admit, I am having a lovely time here, but I’d rather have a home. I want a human to call my own. Someone that will spoil and love me. I’ve never had that before and rumor has it, it’s wonderful! So if you are looking for a new kitty, will you please consider me? You can come and meet me this weekend! We’re open on Saturday from 10-4 and Sunday, 1-4. 🚨 We need DOG food donations! Our community pet food pantry shelves are completely out.

For the last few weeks, we’ve had ZERO dog food available for families who rely on our pantries. While our amazing supporters have kept them wonderfully stocked with cat food (thank you 💜), we’re urgently in need of dry and canned dog food donations.

Our pantry program exists for one simple reason: to help keep pets with the people who love them. When families fall on hard times, access to pet food can be the difference between staying together and surrendering a beloved dog or cat to animal control.

Even though Good Mews is all about cats, we care deeply about helping ALL pets stay in their homes whenever possible.
