As a veterinary clinic, every member of our staff has a deep love and understanding for animals. We consider pets as family with their own thoughts and feelings who just have a different way of communicating them, so we do our best to provide care in a way that is as low-stress as possible. Today highlights the importance of showing respect and compassion towards animals because they're intrinsically linked to humanity and are more than deserving of it.

Today is International Day of Veterinary Medicine🐾⚕️which celebrates and reminds us of the vital work of veterinarians and other veterinary professionals everywhere who dedicate their lives to helping animals, whether that's through shelter medicine, medical research, or everyday routine care. We especially want to share our appreciation for Dr. Meghan Schuh, the owner and medical director of Precision Vet who keeps our clinic running and is the reason we're able to help as many rescues and private clients as we do.

Otherwise known as National Mixed-breed Day, mixed-breed dogs are celebrated twice a year on December 2nd and July 31st because of how often they get overlooked compared to purebreds.
