☀️ Florida Summer = Fun… and a Few Extra Safety Precautions 🐾

Summer is here, and while we're all enjoying the sunshine, it's important to remember that Florida heat can be tough on our pets.

🐶 Watch for signs of heatstroke:
• Excessive panting
• Lethargy
• Drooling
• Vomiting or collapse

🐾 Don't forget the pavement test! If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for your pet's paws. Hot sidewalks can cause painful burns in just seconds.

🚑 If your pet isn't acting like themselves, don't wait. Our team offers same-day urgent care appointments whenever possible to help get your furry family member the care they need quickly.

🇺🇸❤️ In honor of Memorial Day, Cheval Animal Hospital will be closed Monday, May 25th as we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
We will reopen Tuesday, May 26th during normal business hours.

Collaboration, creativity, and a pinch of competition 🏗️✨ Our team took on the spaghetti and marshmallow tower challenge and had an absolute blast. Plus, we learned a thing or two about perseverance! 💙🐾 (P.S....the winning team scrapped their first tower and built their second tower in under 12 minutes)
