Meet Boo Boo — a 12-year-old, 5.8 lb neutered teeny mix who’s as sweet, silly, and loyal as they come. He’s heartworm negative and loves nothing more than burrowing under blankets and cuddling with his person. If you let him, he’ll happily stay by your side all day long.

Boo Boo has lived with both a cat and a 70 lb dog and did well with them (though he is a bit scared of cats!). He’s a mellow little guy who walks on a leash but prefers to take things at his own slow pace. He absolutely loves being carried and makes the perfect pocket pet.

He is not fully potty trained and will have accidents if not taken out routinely or supervised. His history includes coming from a large hoarding case confiscation, but despite everything he’s been through, he’s remained gentle and incredibly loving.

🩺 Medical:
• Recently had a dental with extractions and is missing some teeth
• Currently treating a UTI
• Recurring ear infection—he allows cleaning and it does not seem to bother him
• Prescribed Apoquel as needed for skin/allergies
• On cyclosporine for his eyes

Boo Boo is truly a devoted little companion looking for a calm home that will love him, manage his senior needs, and let him enjoy life at his own cozy pace.

Do you guys know who this puppy is?! It’s Satin! ✨
Our little glow-up queen is thriving — look at that gorgeous coat, no more ribs showing, and pure happiness in her eyes.
She loves everyone: dogs, cats, people… you name it. 🐶🐱❤️
Still working on some puppy manners, but this sweet little nugget is ready for the very best home and family.

This gorgeous young momma found herself at HCPRC a few months ago with her babies. They were all emaciated, flea infested and stained from their own excrements. With proper vet care, foster care and socialization - this girl has blossomed into a sweet, well mannered husky girl! Of course, her babies all got adopted…yet she’s still waiting. ❤️‍🩹 Xena is good with dogs, confident cats and every human she’s ever met!

Xena is searching for an active family who is Husky savvy and can keep up with energy and smarts.

Today we honor Ranger, a brave little soul who spent his final days surrounded by love, warmth, and care from his devoted foster. 🌈💔 In just 10 days, he showed how much one human can change a life.

Ranger’s foster made the heartbreaking decision to help him cross the rainbow, always putting his comfort first. He was deeply loved and will never be forgotten. 💙

Ranger’s story reminds us how powerful fostering can be. Even a little time, a soft blanket, or a kind touch can make a world of difference. Please consider fostering in Ranger’s honor. 🐾

Dennis and Jackie are checking in and hoping today might be the day their future family sees them. 💕 These two siblings have been growing more confident and loving every day in their foster home.

During supper time, they get to meet the resident pups. Jackie offers sweet kisses through the puppy gate 🐶💋, while Dennis takes his time with slow, calm introductions.

New intake: Dock 💛
This ~8-month-old German Shepherd pup was found hit by a car by firefighters about a week and a half ago. ❤️‍🩹 He was taken to HCPRC where they confirmed a broken femur head, heavy infestation of fleas, and anemia.

One of the firefighters is now fostering him, and Dock has started dewormers, iron, a high-quality diet, and joint supplements. He’ll recheck with Dr. Sabshin on 12/8, and if his values improve, his FHO surgery is set for 12/11. 🤞
