We had a ball at the Louisville Bats last night for Purr at the Park!

Alley Cat Advocates joined Kentucky Humane Society and Jefferson Animal Hospital and Regional Emergency Center in tabling at the ball game. There were many kitties running around, and we met two kitty alumni that came through our TNR program before being adopted through our partners! Ear tips and all!

Upcoming road closure reminder... June 1st is almost here!

📣 Attention Indiana Community Cat Caretakers

A major closure of I-65 in the Louisville area is scheduled June 1 – August 1, along with additional construction and traffic disruptions throughout the region. These changes will likely mean longer travel times and heavier congestion on alternate routes like I-64 and I-264.

Why this matters:
With kitten season in full swing, delays can make it harder to get cats seen quickly and may impact already-limited appointment availability.

Please plan ahead:
If you’re an Indiana caretaker needing TNR or clinic visits this summer, we strongly encourage scheduling your appointments before June 1 to avoid disruptions.

Pate, please!! 😺🥫

We need your help feeding the hungry little bellies that come into the Community Cat Complex each week!

Did you know we "kitten" sit litters of kittens while their mom gets spayed? They get vaccines, dewormed, flea prevention and of course, yummy food! If kittens are ill, we keep the lil family and make sure they receive any treatment they may need. ❤️

Long story short, our grocery bill has went up significantly and we need our supporters help to keep bellies full!

Kittens are really loving IAMs chicken pate and Sheba Kitten Pate.

No more hopping around between the laundromat and Louisville Metro Animal Services' laundry room!
