GRRAND is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Since our inception in 1994, we’ve rescued and re-homed more than 5,000 Golden Retrievers and mixed breed dogs. Averaging around 200-300 intakes per year, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home dogs that have been abandoned, abused, or neglected along with those who are the victims of changed life circumstances such as finan

cial hardship, divorce, allergies, relocation, illness, or death. The medical resources and cost required to rescue one dog are vast, ranging from basic vaccinations and medical tests to heartworm treatment and surgeries. We rely on adoption fees, donations, and fundraising so that we never have to say no to a dog in need.

Oak is ready to clock out of shelter life and into summer vacation mode!

Requirements: belly rubs, sunshine, and backyard hangs☀️🐾

At just 2 years old, Oak is a sweet Great Pyrenees with a heart as big as he is❤️ He gets along well with other dogs and would love a foster home where he can stretch out, enjoy some extra attention, and show off what an amazing companion he is.

GRRAND POOL PARTY CANCELED

We were hoping the weather would turn in our favor, but the forecast is calling for high winds and thunderstorms throughout the afternoon.
In an abundance of caution, we are canceling today’s pool party to keep everyone safe.

We hope to see you at a future pool party.

The next date will be announced on Facebook and Instagram later today or early tomorrow.

🐾 GRRAND Is Launching a New Membership Program and We’re Looking for a Membership Coordinator!

GRRAND is excited to launch a new Membership Program designed to create sustained support so we can grow our impact and save even more dogs. To help bring this program to life, we’re seeking a Membership Coordinator to serve as the primary liaison between GRRAND and its members.

This role is essential in building a strong, engaged community of supporters who believe in second chances for dogs in need.

🐶 Position Overview
The Membership Coordinator is a volunteer position that will manage member relationships, renewals, applications, and inquiries to help boost retention and grow our membership base. This person along with any volunteers they recruit will help maintain accurate records, support events, and strengthen member engagement.

Ideal candidates have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and experience with CRM or database systems.

✨ Key Responsibilities
Member Management
• Process new applications, renewals, and cancellations
• Ensure all member records remain accurate and up to date

Customer Service
• Serve as the first point of contact for member questions and support

Database Administration
• Maintain the membership database
• Track statistics and generate reports

Retention & Recruitment
• Develop strategies and campaigns to increase membership and renewals

Event Support
• Partner with event volunteers to coordinate logistics for member‑only events and meetings
