LOST FOSTER PET🚨

Pete (AKA Shade) got spooked and got out last night near Valmar St & 3rd in LR. If you have any information, please reach out to his foster via PawBoost below or call our rescue phone at (501) 804-2273.

UPDATE: REUNITED!! Pete is home safe & sound after 1 days, 8 hours :)

💬 Owner's Message: "Lil Pete is the sweetest goofiest guy. He's very shy at first and scared of cars, but he loves a treat. He just started heart worm treatment so he's supposed to be staying still, but he got spooked and took off. His family is very worried about him and would come get him anywhere anytime. Thanks for your help looking out for him!"

Hi CARE Friends. We want to thank you for your continued support these past few weeks. As a small team of just three staff members, we couldn't do anything without the support of our volunteers, donors, fosters, and followers.

With that said, we will be closing the CARE office & pet food pantry to the public today (8/26). Between recent events, intakes, and things going on in our lives outside of the office, we are getting overwhelmed. Our intention with this day is to take a breath and regroup so that we can open back up Thursday morning and bring our best selves back to work.

This past week has been a big week for adoptions at CARE! Happy Late Gotcha Day to Marigold, Buffalo, Roxy, and several of our CARE kittens! 🐶🐱🎉

Without our volunteers, fosters, and caseworkers, CARE couldn't fulfill our mission to rescue, rehome, spay, and neuter. 💕🐾

Is your senior pup missing??

This sweet lady was found off McKinley in Little Rock and is currently at the Little Rock Animal Village. She is chipped but the phone number attached to it is no longer in service.
Cocker Spaniel/lab mix.

Feel free to message us but the quickest way to get this pup home if she’s yours is to go directly to the Little Rock Animal Village! They’re experiencing phone issues and won’t be able to answer if you call.
