Instead of giving your dogs candy that’s meant for humans, let’s make this Halloween a tail-waggin’ good time with our HOWLOWEEN Trick or Treat Exchange! 👻🐶

Here’s how it works:
🦴 Sign up by October 22nd to join the fun!
🎁 Once everyone’s in, we’ll send out the final count so you can bring enough dog-safe goodies for every pup participating.
🎃 On Halloween, your furry friend gets to enjoy a bag full of treats made just for them!

Let’s talk about one of our favorite enrichment options — Scent Lead Walks! 🐶✨
These special walks are all about letting your pup slow down and use their nose! It’s not about distance or speed — it’s about giving them the chance to explore, sniff, and take in the world around them. 🌿

💰 $35 per walk
🕒 45 min to 1 hour long
📏 Around 2 miles (sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more!)

It’s the ultimate sniffari and such a great way to give your dog both mental and physical exercise! Perfect for curious pups, high-energy dogs, or anyone who loves a good adventure! 🐾💨

🐾 Welcome, Mr. Rocky! 🐾
We had such a fun and chill day today — especially with our newest little buddy Rocky joining the crew! 💙

At just 4 months old, this sweet guy is starting his daycare journey with us. First days can be a big adventure — new smells, new friends, and lots of new sights! That’s why we always take it slow and positive, making sure every pup feels safe and confident as they settle in.

Here’s a peek into what those early days look like:
💤 Naptime (12–2 PM) — rest is key for young pups and helps prevent overstimulation
🐾 Gentle play & socializing — getting comfortable at their own pace
💚 Lots of encouragement — building trust one paw at a time

We’re so proud of Rocky for doing great on his first day — those curious eyes say it all! 👀💫

🐾✂️ Meet Jade — Our New Groomer at Hillcrest Dog Spot! ✂️🐾

We’re so excited to welcome Jade to our grooming team! 💕
With 14 years of grooming experience, Jade brings incredible skill, care, and passion to every pet she works with — dogs and cats alike! 🐶🐱

Jade began her grooming career at PetSmart, where she worked her way up to manager before running her own grooming business. Now, she’s found her way to Hillcrest to continue doing what she loves most — helping pets look and feel their best!

Originally from Arizona, Jade has called Arkansas home with her husband, two kids, and her lively crew of rescues (five dogs and three cats!). When she’s not grooming, you’ll find her diving into DIY projects, spending time with family, or traveling.

💬 “Grooming isn’t just a job for me — it’s my passion, my therapy, and my happy place.”

Jade will be offering weekend and evening appointments, and we’re thrilled to announce she’ll also be offering CAT grooming services! 🐾
