🎸 Meet Bruce Woofsteen! 🎸

Don't let the rockstar name fool you—while this handsome boy is ready to steal the spotlight, his favorite tempo is definitely a slow groove. At just 16 weeks old, Bruce is already a sturdy 41-pound Shepherd mix, tracking to be a wonderfully large, low-energy companion!

Bruce is the definition of a gentle giant in training. He is incredibly affectionate, eager to please, and absolutely loves every person and dog he meets. He’s the ultimate friend to everyone!

If you are looking for a buddy to play fetch with, Bruce is happy to oblige—just don't expect any land-speed records. He absolutely loves the game, but he operates at exactly one speed: slow and steady. His goofy personality keeps his foster family laughing constantly, making him a daily dose of pure joy.

Margo and 89 other amazing pets are needing forever homes!

Margo came to OOTW when she was a tiny little girl, probably 6 weeks old or less. She was in pretty poor shape after being dumped in a very rural area where it was honestly a miracle she was even found. Within days of her arrival, she was adopted into a wonderful, loving home, but due to work schedules and Margo's energy level, it was decided she needed more than she was getting and this little beauty is now back with us looking for a better match.

We believe Margo's date of birth is around October 8, 2025, which makes her 8 months old at this writing. She has learned so much in those 8 months! She can sit and down. She's not great at staying however ... just too much going on to stay put! She is crate trained and house trained. Margo does well on a leash and rides in the car beautifully. She has spent time at doggie day camp and if you are planning this for for her, you will be happy to know that her report cards show that she "plays well with others"! Margo also likes cats ... but the cat in her former home was not interested in playing with her which left Margo dejected. She is usually up for a good game of chase or fetch or something fun! Within minutes of arriving back in foster care, she was working hard to get her foster siblings to play with her. She's just a fun, spirited young girl and to prove it, she has the photos of her sailing on Lake Ouachita! She's always up for an outing!

At 31 pounds, Margo's a really nice size. We do expect her to grow a bit more since she's only 8 months, but honestly, she will probably not reach 40 pounds when full grown.

Now let's talk about what this girl needs. DNA testing on Margo showed some surprises! Margo is 35% "Super Mutt" which means they have no idea what is in there! But she is almost 20% pit bull terrier (that was a shocker), and 15% Chow-Chow (another shocker). From there she has a little German Shepherd (yes, we see that) and Australian Shepherd (well, once or twice she did nip at a heel!) We know you can't argue with science but here is what we are seeing: Margo is a loving, playful, personable young lady who has plenty of energy. She is in love with soft squeaky toys and if you won't throw them for her, she will throw them herself! We believe her perfect family would either have another energetic, playful dog, or they might be a hiker that would love a companion to share their experiences. Margo enjoys the water and wading in a creek or playing in a kiddie pool in the back yard would bring her immense enjoyment. She is intrigued by running water and has been known to stick her head into a running shower to lick the spraying water and a running garden hose is also a fun time! Margo would also make an exceptional agility dog.

ROBERT is a handsome 3-year-old Terrier/Poodle mix (yes Poodle) weighing in at 62lbs. Robert is a little unsure, due to losing his home, so he’ll need a patient adopter who will give him time to settle in and feel safe again. Once he trusts you, you very quickly realize what a sweet and gentle boy he truly is! Robert gets along well with other dogs and absolutely loves going for car rides.

JAMES is a loving and affectionate 3-year-old, weighing 90 lbs. He is a hound mix with a heart as big as he is! James loves being around people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Whether it’s a play session with canine friends or a relaxing car ride, James is happy just being part of the adventure.

DOMINO is a 1.5 year old Husky/Shepherd mix who currently weighs 54 lbs. She can be a little shy at first, but with patience and love, her true personality shines through. Her foster family describes her as both loving and playful, and she’s already showing what a wonderful companion she’ll be for the right home.

BEAU is a 1 year old, 50lb, retriever mix who is a sweet, loving, and cuddly boy! He gets along great with other dogs.

MOCHA is a friendly and gentle soul. At about 1 year old, she weighs around 35 lbs. She has a very sweet disposition. Mocha didn't get a lot of attention as a pup, so she still needs patience while she adjusts to life in a home. She can be a little slow to trust at first, but once you’ve earned your place as her person, her loyalty and affection truly shine. Housebreaking and basic training are currently in progress, and she will benefit from patience, consistency, and continued practice in her new home. With a little time and understanding, Mocha will blossom into a devoted and loving companion.

WILLOW is a 1-2 year old Pit Bull Terrior mix (55lbs) with the happiest smile. She still acts like a puppy - loving fetch, running around, and playing whenever she gets the chance. She’s active, affectionate, and full of joy, but also loves curling up for cuddles.

MILEY is a stunning 2-3 year-old Belgian Shepherd Malinois mix, weighing in at about 80 lbs. True to her breed, Miley is full of energy and needs an active home where she can run and play. Miley was diagnosed with Addison’s disease and will need monthly injections along with Prednisone, she is doing great and has responded very well with treatment. PENNY is a 2.5 year old "Arkansas Brown Dog" who is incredibly sweet and loving. She weighs in at around 55lbs of pure love. Penny is great with other dogs and even kids!

SHYANNE, aka Annie, is a small (42lb) 2-3 year old Rottweiler with perky ears. She is extremely sweet! Annie apparently has lived her entire life outdoors, so she's a little shy about coming in the house. Once you convince her it's okay to be inside, she pretty much makes herself at home and I find her many days curled up in a chair in the living room. Annie is crate trained and house trained. She does not do well on leash, so that is going to need some work, but we will say she is VERY food motivated and it probably wouldn't take long at all if treats were involved to have her walking right by your side.

BIG MOMMA is a 1-2 year old, not so big (only 46lbs) "Arkansas Brown Dog" with a friendly and gentle soul. Her intelligence shines through and she's always eager to please those around her. Big Momma's sweet nature makes her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loving and loyal friend. She is good with other dogs and has a knack for brightening up the room.

BINGO is a 3-4 year old Pit Bull Terrier. Don't let this stoic expression fool you - this guy is so sweet and has so much love to give. He gives the sweetest little kisses for treats and affection and will sit kindly as you prepare to give him a good head scratch. Bingo is good with other dogs, but would be just as happy in a home where he got all the attention.

BELLA is a beautiful 3-year-old, 41lb, Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart as big as her smile! This sweet girl is full of love and is especially wonderful with kids, making her a perfect addition to a family looking for a loyal and gentle companion. Bella has a calm, affectionate nature and absolutely adores spending time with her people — whether that’s playing in the yard, going for walks, or snuggling up for some well-earned cuddle time.

PEARL is a six year old Lab mix and is a bundle of love. At 66lbs, she wants all the attention and will stay by your side as your loyal sidekick wherever you go. While Pearl is deaf, you can not tell as she is very curious and very attentive. She uses all her other senses to a tee to make sure to make up for her lack of hearing. Taking care of a deaf dog is different but can be done with lots of sign language for commands and training. She is easy on a leash, loves to cuddle and loves her humans immensely. Pearl is not fond of other dogs so she will need to be the only dog in the household.

Max knows 'sit', 'down', 'shake', and 'come' commands. He learns very quickly and will work for just about any treat. He is shy with new people but warms up quickly.

BEATRICE is a gentle soul with a heart full of love! At just 4 years old and 45lbs, this sweet Pit Bull mix has already lived a lifetime of challenges, but you’d never know it from her soft eyes and loving nature. She adores belly rubs, leans in for affection, and happily soaks up love wherever she can find it. Beatrice is good with cats, dogs, kids and is housetrained!

GUCCI is a sweet 4 year old Hound/Cocker Spaniel mix. He can be a bit shy with new people, but once he warms up; he is a happy playful boy. Gucci is completely house trained with no concerning behaviors. He rides well in a car and does good on a leash.

MAYBELLINE is a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing in at 64lbs with a heart just as big as her soulful eyes. She’s gentle, affectionate, and quietly devoted.
