Suki stopped by yesterday for her regular pawicure, and as always, she completely melted our hearts. 💅🏻🐾 While nail trims can make her a little nervous, our team knows that with a little extra patience, encouragement, and lots of love, she can do it; she truly was the best girl! She left us with the sweetest smile after her quick visit, and moments like these remind us why we love what we do! 🩷

Miss Pumpkin came in today for her final kitten booster vaccines and deworming, and of course received plenty of b***y scratches and love along the way. 😻🩷 She was an absolute superstar during her visit and handled everything so incredibly well! We couldn't be more proud of this sweet girl and the loving personality she brings everywhere she goes.

We can't wait to watch Miss Pumpkin continue to grow and thrive. 🩷🐱🐾

Instead of Kermit the Frog, we had Kermit the Kitten visit us last week! 💙🐾
Kermit came in to establish care, begin his kitten vaccination series, and be tested for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). 💉 He was an excellent patient, and we couldn't be happier with how well he did during his visit. We can't wait to watch this sweet boy grow and see him back for his future appointments! 🐈💙

We also wanted to share a quick update about our new phone system. 📞 We're continuing to get everything up and running, and overall things have been going well as our team adjusts. If you notice any issues when calling our clinic, please don't hesitate to let us know. We truly appreciate your patience and feedback as we work through this transition! 😊

Hello everyone,
The phones are up and running but please be patient because there are some glitches and our amazing reception team is learning to use the new system. If you call and do not get through or cannot leave a voicemail please call back! We are working to get the voicemail boxes set up appropriately. We have the MOST exciting update to share this morning! We know that our phones have been problematic and frustrating for a very long time. Trust us, we know!

Well today is the day that our new phones are being installed! We are very hopeful this should alleviate the problems and make it much easier to reach our amazing team!

Please bear with us as we make this transition later this morning. We are not anticipating any delay in reaching us as the majority of service should occur during our lunch hour between 1-2pm. However, should the phones be unavailable for any period of time we will keep you updated through Facebook and Otto.

We have some exciting news to share! One of our amazing assistants is actually a CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN! Chyrie stepped away from the profession to take time to raise her boys and when she returned she didn't tell us right away that she was actually a CVT! We are so excited and proud of her accomplishments. (She's actually been working at the clinic for a year!)

Benny, also known as Benedict, underwent a life-changing surgery to remove a malignant tumor from his upper lip, and it's a true miracle! Dr. Malter, her surgery team, and Benny's mom worked in perfect harmony to ensure Benny's successful surgery and smooth recovery, allowing him to return to his normal activities! 🐈💙

A few months later, Benny's checkup revealed he was doing amazingly well! His mom was ecstatic with his progress, and it's clear that Benny's back to his old self! He's a beloved friend to our technician Addy and Dr. Malter, and his adorable permanent grin is a reminder of his incredible journey! 🐾🥰

Just a reminder today is the last day to ask for sedatives prior to the 4th of July weekend! Tonight and tomorrow there will be fireworks shows over Devil's Lake.

We wish you all a happy and safe 4th of July! As a reminder, our amazing kennel team will be caring for our guests staying this weekend but there will be no drop off or pick ups tomorrow on the 4th so that they can complete tasks and also have time to celebrate with their families.

We will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 6th!
