Rooted Coffee Company Thank you for a great way to start our day and show the love for our Veterinary Technicians and entire team! Have them at your next event-you won't be disappointed

🐾What does it take to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician? Here's a comparison that may surprise you:
A South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) completes an approved nursing education program and must pass the national NCLEX-RN examination to become licensed.
A South Carolina Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) must graduate from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program, pass the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE). LVTs must also complete continuing education to maintain their license.
The difference? Their patients.❤️ RNs care for people. LVTs care for animals.
And behind the blood draw, IV catheter, anesthesia procedure, laboratory test, surgery, medication calculation, radiograph, hospitalized patient and carefully monitored recovery at Cherokee Trail is an LVT with years of education, training, skill and compassion behind them. So when you see LVT after someone's name, know that there is a whole lot of knowledge behind those three letters.
Your pets are in very good hands.🐾️

At Cherokee Trail, our Licensed Veterinary Technicians are so much more than a title. They are the heart behind so much of the care our patients receive. ❤️🐾In human medicine, there may be a different person for bloodwork, IVs, anesthesia, surgery, radiology, laboratory work, patient monitoring, education, and recovery.

In veterinary medicine, so many of those roles come together in ONE person.

Our LVTs are nurses, anesthetists, laboratory technicians, surgical assistants, educators, advocates, problem-solvers, and sometimes, the person holding a scared pet and whispering, “You're okay. I've got you.” They catch the little things. They speak for patients who can't speak for themselves. They celebrate the victories, carry the hard moments, and pour their hearts into animals they may only know for a day.
And we are incredibly lucky to have Robin, Susan, Kaitlyn, Danica, Ashley T., and Emily J. as part of the Cherokee Trail family.
To our LVTs: Thank you for your knowledge. Your strength. Your compassion. Your patience. Your heart. Our patients are better because of you. Our doctors are better because of you, and Cherokee Trail is better because of you.

We see you. We appreciate you. And we are so incredibly grateful for you. ❤️
