At just 4 days old, these little Rottweilers haven't even opened their eyes yet. 🖤🐾

Safe to say we got a little less productive after these five arrived.

Now we're curious... what's your weakness when it comes to puppies?

This little one is only about 2.5 weeks old and should still be with its mom.

Instead, someone found the kitten and brought it to us.

Since kittens this young can't eat on their own, Emily has been bottle feeding every few hours while also helping with the constant care they need at this age.

Outside of Banks, Emily partners with Wescott Acres Pet Rescue, helping rescue and rehome animals that need a second chance.

Caring for animals goes far beyond the exam room. ❤️🐾

An update on our guy Dex. 🖤🐾

Yesterday was a big day, and we're happy to share that Dex did great during surgery.

Of course, he fought us when it was time for sedation, but he wouldn't be Dex if he didn't.

After surgery, he woke up calm and content, then immediately curled up in the arms of our lead tech, Sara. He's now resting, recovering, and getting plenty of love while he adjusts to life on three legs.

Thank you all for the prayers, messages, and support for Dex and Emily. Keep them coming! Our little buddy still has some healing to do, but we're confident he's going to do just fine. 💛

🖤 Tomorrow is a big day for Dex.

After suffering a serious injury to his front left leg, Dex will be undergoing surgery and having his leg amputated.

If you know Dex, you know this little guy is tough, stubborn, full of personality, loves pasta, and is loved by just about everyone he meets. While tomorrow won't be easy, we're hopeful for what comes next. Dogs have an incredible way of adapting, and if anyone can learn to rock life on three legs, it's Dex.

Please, please keep Dex, Emily, and everyone who loves him in your thoughts tomorrow. Every prayer, good vibe, and well wish means more than you know.
