Today we’re celebrating one of our most dedicated Sit Now Stay pups. Tenor has had an incredible 435 reservations with us over the years, and we’ve loved being part of his journey every step of the way.

Summer heat can make training more challenging for dogs. As temperatures rise, dogs fatigue faster, lose focus more easily, and can become overstimulated. That’s why shorter, more intentional training sessions often produce better results than marathon practice sessions.

The good news? Consistent training during the summer helps build impulse control, confidence, and reliable obedience even when distractions are at their highest. Whether it’s practicing place, loose leash walking, recall, or simply settling around activity, a little training each day goes a long way.

Remember: train smarter, not longer, and always keep fresh water and shade available for your four-legged student.

Muscle Mutts Monday

Daycare doesn’t have to be all-day group play. At Muscle Mutts, dogs spend their day building confidence, improving fitness, engaging their minds, and learning valuable skills through structured activities tailored to their individual needs.
