Precision Dog Training Academy's owners and instructors are the most experienced and patient dog trainers in the Kansas City region. We have over 30 years of experience working with family pets. We have also worked with service dogs and military and police dogs. We recognize how essential it is for you and your canine companion to be able to communicate and collaborate. For us, it's a pleasure to

work with families and their pets. Our instructors graduated from well respected programs including the Tom Rose School, Michael Ellis Professional School, NePoPo School, Logan Haus School, and STSK9 University of Professional Dog Training in Belgium.

🌟 Meet Mikey, Professional Dog Trainer 🌟
Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Mikey grew up with a love for sports, teamwork, and helping others. For nearly 20 years, he coached people as a Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist, guiding them to reach their personal goals.
His biggest passion, though, has always been dogs. Inspired by the bond with his pit staffie Titan, Mikey made the move to Overland Park in 2023 to fully commit himself to professional dog training.
Mikey doesn’t just train dogs. He works with owners too, showing them how to build trust, confidence, and lasting results with their companions. His energy, empathy, and background in coaching make him uniquely equipped to help families enjoy a happier life with their dogs.

Katie’s journey to dog training is one fueled by passion and heart. After moving to Kansas City in 2022, she’s dedicated 500+ volunteer hours at KC Pet Project, helping pups of all ages and needs. She’s fostered 5 dogs (and counting!) and is the proud dog mom of Molly Jo, a pittie/GSP mix who taught her the fundamentals of training, and Sadie Sue, her sweet foster fail who learned to trust again after a tough start.
From working with nervous rescues to helping reactive dogs build confidence, Katie knows what it takes to transform challenges into victories. Her mission is simple: to keep more dogs in the loving homes they deserve. ❤️
