❤It's Valentine's Week and we're showing the shelter pets a little extra love! Today we made these fun treat dispensers for our cats. Adoptable Barnacle gave them two paws up! 😻

To make at home for your own kitty, take a paper tube and flatten it to cut a heart shape on two sides. Open it back up. Lay out a sheet of newspaper and add cat treats on top before crumpling the paper up to keep treats inside. Stuff the paper tube with the newspaper, and tuck a few more treats between the paper and cardboard layer. Add catnip for extra fun!

Corey had a foster sleepover the other night! His foster writes:

"I had the pleasure of having Corey over for a sleepover. He was a polite guest! He can sit and does well on the leash. He loves to play fetch and play with balls and toys. He likes his belly and ears scratched. He will climb right into your lap or sit on the couch next to you. He has a sweet temperament-curious and playful. He slept on the bed with me and was very quiet. He is playful and energetic but also happy to be a couch potato. I hope he gets adopted quickly."

Join us in giving a big thank you to Mackenzie from Troop 962G! For her Eagle Scout project, she completely overhauled our kitten foster supply system, making it more efficient and accessible. From organizing bins of supplies to creating detailed checklists and streamlined systems for each age group, Mackenzie’s hard work ensures that our foster families can quickly and easily access everything they need. Thanks to her dedication, our kittens are better cared for than ever! Thank you!

Clark is one handsome pup with the softest ears you’ll ever feel! He loves leaning in for ear rubs and will happily soak up all the affection you have to offer. Clark enjoys going on outings with our volunteers (he rests his head on your shoulder while you're driving 🥹) and can’t resist pouncing on his favorite rope toys. He’s a social, curious boy who gets along well with other dogs and may thrive with a dog sibling in his future home.
