Advanced Obedience teaches Intermediate Obedience graduates the skills needed to go on to Therapy Dog work and compete in Obedience and Rally trials. This class helps develop rock-solid attention skills and fine tunes heeling using targeting techniques. It also teaches off-lead heeling, off-lead hand signals, off-lead recalls at a distance, and works toward out-of-sight stays. Owners can perfect their training techniques and may prepare to show their dogs in AKC or UKC obedience, rally, or agility events.
