It’s almost BABY TIME!

With the birth of Baby Girl number 3 quickly approaching, I wanted to update all of you on the exciting news at Market Street Animal Clinic.

I will be taking June and July to bond with my new baby (still yet to be named). MSAC will be fully staffed and open regular hours all summer.

The relief veterinarians that I have been using for the past few years (All Four Paws Veterinary Relief) will be covering the practice and here for you and your pets. If you have not had the pleasure of meeting them please feel reassured that your animals are in good hands.

After 10 years, I have purchased the Market Street building and will be working with an architect over the summer to plan renovations. These likely won’t start until the Fall or Winter but I am excited to update the clinic and make MSAC even better and more accommodating to your family!

I also wanted to take the time to thank each and every one of you for the support over the years as the clinic and my family has grown. MSAC is a dream come true for me and I am looking forward to what the next 10 years will bring!

One of our clients found kittens in her driveway and brought them in for Dr.Katie to check out. Abby's birthday (Dr.Katie's youngest) is coming up, and her family is ready to open up their home to another furry member.

Welcome to the Kuchinsky/Austad family, tiny little ball of cuteness and fluff!

Ryan and I had just recently started dating when we adopted Winston from the Humane Society in MN. He was only 8 weeks old and immediately stole our hearts. He has been with us through marriage, a move across the country to purchase MSAC, losing his best friend Molly after 12 years together and watching two children grow. He drove us crazy with his food obsession but we loved him dearly. So as we say goodbye to one family member of Market Street we open our hearts to another coming in June. Rest In Peace Mr. Winston and welcome Baby Girl #3.

Diesel was dropped off yesterday to have his ears checked after he was seen scratching and shaking his head. We did find Diesel had an ear infection (cats can get ear infections, too). Diesel gets nervous in the exam rooms, so Stephanie climbed in with him. We aim to make our patients as comfortable as possible, and practice feline-friendly techniques.
