Join us for the Paddles for Paws Women’s Pickleball Tournament on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 1:00–4:00 PM at SW19 at the Stadium (9119 E. 39th St, KCMO) — KC’s newest pickleball courts, restaurant, and bar! 🍹🏓

This exciting event benefits Fix’em KC, helping fund spay/neuter services for pets in our community. And here’s the best part — you don’t have to play to make a difference!

Meet STEWIE!

He and his brother were found by one of our volunteers in Kansas City, Kansas in October.

She kept them safe, warm and fed throughout the entire winter.

They were on the stray confined list at Animal Services. The day came and it was their turn for intake! She decided to take one of them to Animal Services, his brother. She wanted to work with Stewie more and see his potential. She asked if we could neuter him through Fix’Em KC. We said absolutely, yes!!

He is now neutered and fully vaccinated. He is doing good and is very playful! He continues to learn what it is like to be cared for and loved. We hope that eventually he will be able to  be a couch, potato, and a bed hog!
