🚨 Exciting Updates Coming to Lee’s Summit Animal Hospital! 🚨

We’re upgrading our medical records system on Monday, June 22, 2026, to make your experience smoother, faster, and more connected! 🐾

Here’s what this means for you:
✔️ Faster access to your pet’s medical history
✔️ More accurate records
✔️ Easier communication with our team
✔️ Improved online booking and texting services

📅 Temporary Closure Notice:
To prepare for this transition, we will be CLOSED from Saturday, June 20 through 1:00 PM on Monday, June 22.

Please note:
• Our emergency line will be inactive during this time
• We will not be on call during the closure
• Please request prescription refills early and allow at least 48 hours for processing as we transition systems

Meet the Technician: Brittney! 🐾

Brittney has been a valued member of the LSAH family for 6 years and brings a passion for patient care to every day she spends in the clinic.

You'll most often find her in our surgery department, helping ensure our patients receive the best care possible before, during, and after their procedures. While she loves surgery, one of her favorite parts of the job is getting to chat with pet owners and help them better understand their pets' health.

When it comes to patients, Brittney has a soft spot for scruffy dogs and Heelers—the scruffier and sassier, the better!

Outside of work, Brittney lives on a cattle farm with her husband and three children. Her furry family includes two dogs, Grizzly and Kasey, and a new kitten named Remi who has quickly stolen everyone's heart.

Fun fact: When she's not caring for animals, you'll likely find her listening to a true crime podcast or diving into a good mystery!

"He gets his teeth brushed at the groomer, so he doesn't need a dental." 😬

Meanwhile, his teeth:

🦷 Tartar buildup
🦷 Inflamed gums
🦷 Bacteria hiding below the gumline
🦷 Bad breath that could clear a room

Brushing is fantastic and we absolutely recommend it! But even the best brushing can't remove hardened tartar or clean beneath the gums where dental disease starts.

Some dogs come to the clinic nervous. Some dogs come for treats. And some dogs show up looking like they just stepped off the cover of Dogue Magazine. 💅✨

This sweet girl arrived rocking her adorable bows and serving looks the entire visit. We can't decide what was cuter, her perfect accessories or her sweet personality! ❤️
