As flowers bloom, so do risks for our pets, with plenty of opportunity for them to breathe in particles, scratch an eye, poke a paw, or even get snagged by a branch or thorn, all of which could potentially lead to infections.

Infections can be sneaky subtle—If your pet is not acting right and you are not sure what it is, get them checked! Like with most conditions, the sooner we treat an infection, the better your pet will feel.

🎓🐾 BIG congratulations to our amazing Allie Cook! 🐾🎓

Allie has officially graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Maple Woods Community College, and we could not be more proud of her accomplishment!

Her journey with us started when she was just 16 years old as a kennel technician, and over the years we’ve had the privilege of watching her grow into an incredibly compassionate, hardworking, and dedicated member of our team. It didn’t take long to see that caring for animals was truly her passion.

Next up — she’ll be taking her national boards to officially become a Registered Veterinary Technician, and we have no doubt she is going to be absolutely unstoppable. 💪🐶🐱

Allie, thank you for your heart, your dedication, and the love you show every patient that walks through our doors. We are so excited to watch you continue to grow in veterinary medicine. Your future is so bright, and we are lucky to have you as part of our clinic family. ❤️
